Enjoy a fearless diving trip to Lazarus Island with us and get to experience some of the best diving spots in Singapore! We'll also take you for a swimming trip to Lazarus Island Beach where you might might many Sea Urchins!! So watch your steps as you walk around the pristine beach of Lazarus Islands.
Do take note to always dive with your buddies and bring proper gear whenever you're in the water.
Lazarus Island, situated alongside St. John's Island and Sisters' Islands, forms a vital part of the Sisters' Islands Marine Park, established to safeguard and preserve Singapore's underwater biodiversity. Positioned in the southern reaches of Singapore, Lazarus Island is renowned for its abundant marine life and vibrant coral reefs.
Diversity of Corals: Lazarus Island hosts a diverse range of coral formations, encompassing both robust and delicate varieties. These reefs constitute intricate marine ecosystems built over time by the accumulation of calcium carbonate structures created by coral polyps. Serving as crucial habitats and shelters, coral reefs foster a remarkable array of marine species, rendering them among the most biologically varied ecosystems on our planet.
Variety of Marine Life: The waters surrounding Lazarus Island nurture an extensive spectrum of marine species, including fish, invertebrates, and various other marine organisms. Among the commonly encountered marine life in these waters are a diverse assortment of fish (e.g., damselfish, butterflyfish, parrotfish), crustaceans (e.g., crabs, shrimps), mollusks (e.g., snails, clams), and sea stars, among others.
Preservation Endeavors: The Sisters' Islands Marine Park, encompassing Lazarus Island, has been designated as a protected zone to safeguard and enrich Singapore's marine biodiversity. Measures are in place to shield the delicate coral reefs and the varied marine life, encompassing the regulation of visitor access, the promotion of public awareness regarding marine conservation, the execution of research and monitoring initiatives, and collaborative efforts with diverse stakeholders to ensure the sustainable management of the marine park.
It's crucial to bear in mind that marine environments are susceptible to human activities, such as pollution, coastal development, and overfishing. Thus, continual initiatives aimed at safeguarding and preserving the marine diversity of Lazarus Island are imperative to sustain its ecological well-being and viability for generations to come. For the most up-to-date information and developments concerning Lazarus Island's marine diversity and conservation endeavors, I recommend consulting official sources or marine conservation organizations in Singapore.
How to get to the island:
1) Buy ticket from Marina South Ferries, booking via Klook is cheaper.

3) Note: Buy lunch before entering the island, as there aren't any eateries there. Bring a lot of water (recommended 2L per person) if you are plan to walk all of southern islands!
