Carrie, we totally understand! Actually, here is a blog post from our corporate blog, The Lavender Life, that we feel like you would love: www.youngliving.com/blog/where-should-i-put-my-diffuser/ Thanks for commenting on our channel!
I have a question. Getting soon the feather owl diffuser and it says it has humidifier and atomizer function as well. My question is, can i use it with no oil and only distilled water on a diffuser, will it act like its function as a humidifier or nothing happens? Thank you. 🌸
Cute concept and all BUT Safety issue here for me no timer present as should only diffuse for 20-30 minutes. Would question if automatic turnoff/run out of diffusing would occur after 30 minutes.
All I know about this is that its safe to have it more than half hour, because the diffuser is safe and the oils are natural, an about the duration of the oils, it depend about each oil
@@maxshock2288 it is unwise to think that because something is natural it is safe and poses no risk. Used incorrectly anything can be a hazard. There are risks, and potential contra actions associated with all essential oil use. Diffusion around children should be at a maximum of 30 minutes, no longer is needed to gain the required benefit and effect. The essential oil molecules will remain within the room atmosphere for a further duration of time, dependant on the air exchange and ventilation. I am not going to get into the science of it all, all I will suggest is to seek out a certified, insured and qualified professional, not guidance from a sales person. Qualified and noted as experts who are well regarded specialists within the professional community are Robert Tisserand, Danièle Ryman, Sue Clarke, Jane Buckle, Kurt Schnaubelt is where I would start. A classic text is The Fragrant Pharmacy as well.
