53 years in the making. Maysville Basketball is at long last headed BACK to the State Tournament.
Led by a set of incredible senior players and rising sophomores, Coach Brown’s Panthers have written their names in the history books countless times this year.
From Alex “Big Shot” Bobb becoming the all-time leading scorer to multiple double-digit comebacks in the 2nd half at the Regional Tournament, it’s been a fever dream for Southtown. Now, they make their final pit stop in The Gem City where they’ll face another team on a once-in-a-lifetime run - Shelby - where someone will make their first ever State Final.
After graduating 4 seniors (including Hayden Jarrett who held the scoring title) and only returning a few letter winners, it’s truly been the journey of a lifetime for Maysville as they seek to turn dreams into reality.
