I think Irish accent is something between British and American accent. In fact, many early immigrants to North America were Irish people and definitely they had influence on American accent

Fantastic, brilliant! I love this Irish accent; I was amazed to hear the features. It's amazing to think that the rhotic R of the americans is way likely directly inherited from the Irish emigration to the States (especially towards the middle of the 19th century and following the great famine I think...) and later. This is probably the main feature that also makes me feel it like sth in between a 'British' and an American accent. The feature that amazed me the most was 'nʌ'.ən (nothing) and' sʌ'.ən (something). How amazing! Thank you so much Anna & Jo! bisous 😘😘🌹🌹❤❤☘
