Shot on 35mm by seasoned film directors, the ITC action adventure series' high production values allowed key episodes to be easily presented as full-length movies for European cinema exhibition. Mid '60s favourite The Baron yielded two films assembled from two-part stories: The Man in a Looking Glass and Mystery Island.
Restored from brand-new High Definition masters created by Network's award-winning inhouse Restoration Team, both movies are presented here in widescreen format alongside the fullscreen versions of the four episodes from which they are comprised.

Very sad to hear of the demise of Network Distributing. Over the years I've ordered several discs from them and not only did they put out excellent products often with brilliant restoration, but their customer service was good also. Once I had a faulty disc in a box set, contacted them and the problem was immediately sorted with no hassle. Hopefully something will be salvaged and a new Network arise from the ashes.

Can't believe the comments here about them going. They were the numero.....er....one, in the world of retro TV progs. Would have loved them to make an old advert compilation disc, featuring all our favourites and rarities from the 1970's and 80s.

So sad, Network were like the John Peel of home entertainment putting out stuff for niche markets often times and catering for cult gems, not just for blockbusters and big sales. I like so many are gutted they are gone.

That was probably the problem - they needed the big hitters to make money in order to fund the low selling niche releases. Like everyone, I have many of their titles. I hope everyone involved at Network is ok and finds a successful future. I don't see anyone picking up their mantle sadly 😥

Already ordered. I'm not interested in the compilations but the HD/restored original episodes included in the set. I hope this is an indication that we will get the whole series.

@@robpearce7660 The way it usually happens... more money going out than coming in. Bad management... bad decisions... not enough sales. As soon as Tim Beddows died I had a feeling that Network was living on borrowed time. Six months later... The End.

I keep getting an "account suspended" message when trying to access the website. Sadly it looks like they are in receivership. A very sad day.

Sadly they have gone into liquidation. I received an email from PayPal yesterday advising my payment for The Baron blu-ray has been refunded. Hopefully everyone else who pre-ordered will also be refunded. Such a shame.

Looks fab! Already pre-ordered this puppy and can't wait to receive it. Hope this sells well enough to warrant an eventual remastered complete series Blu-Ray.

Yes, paid for the Baron on blu ray but networkonair dissolved before it went out for Distribution. Very sad at this fantastic company's demise as have been loyal supporter for years.

Don't order from there. I ordered on 5-25-23 for over $142.00 dollars. They suspended my account and I heard they closed down.

Sadly, this won't be coming apparently assets have already been liquidised and the company is in the process of being wound up. Only know this via a post on a website in the USA..

Yep, got my refund too, it's a shame, collected so many things from them over the years, will just make our collections more valuable though in years to come, just went on an Amazon shopping spree picking up all their ABC nights in collections before they go too. I would have thought if The Baron remaster had been pressed it would have made more sense to send them out and use the cash to go toward their debt. I wonder if another company will pick up the re-master. Would make sense ITV getting it and streaming it as they still have the rights.
