Give me the info on the tournament and I'll see if I can make it there. Right now I'm on crutches from a staff infection on my ankle. Can't walk on it and I felt it a few days ago and yesterday I couldn't walk on it. Did blood work n X rays yesterday going to see doctor today
Alan how do you determine that a given lake has turned over? A few weeks ago, I fished Berryessa and using one of those depth temperature devices that you attach to a downrigger and dropped it to 50 feet and the temperature difference from surface to 50 feet differed by only .3 degrees! Wouldn't that indicate the lake has indeed turned over? Thanks for all the info you have given all of us over the years. Sam
Yes it would and I think Berryessa has turned over. A friend of mine was there last Sunday and saw lots trout jumping on the surface. I was there two weeks ago and never saw any jumping. So I'll be heading up there next week to look around

Always when the Sac river gets muddy and they open the weirds and flood the yolo bypass the Sac DWC all the shad head in there and the stripers follow them!

I watch your video hoping your fishing report includes something on "surf fishing". Most times I waste my time going through your entire video and hearing nothing on surf fishing. Perhaps you could included something on surf fishing or say in the beginning of your video you have nothing to report on surf fishing. Or title your report "inland fishing report"! Your reports are always very informative and interesting; BUT they just don't include my interests and maybe the interests of many others.
