I was staring at your hair the whole video it looks SO GOOD 💘 February goal is to finish books 2 and 3 of the Throne of Glass Series, save money for a vacation in the spring, AND finally run 3 miles in UNDER 30 minutes... Looking forward to visiting back home in South Florida for a week at the end of the month! Gonna spend time with family and friends, and sneak in a little beach and sunshine :)

I use the cash envelope budgeting system also but I love the added sticker that show the amount you pay and check off each month I really want to use this type of system I think it’s great 😊 thank you

How does the stuffing work when you have auto drafts? Do you deposit the money before it’s set to come out?

Yes! For me at least. Before the auto payment gets pulled I go and deposit that amount into a specific bills / auto payment account that all the bills come from so I can keep track of them easier as well!

Do you not have insurance for all the pets? Especially as two of them are getting older. It would be essential here in the UK. I would definitely recommend looking into it because, especially with dogs, they’re harder and more expensive to cover the older they get

The $300 for the pets is just for dog food hahaha. But as of right now, no we do not. But agree, that we’re looking into it!

I see how this type of budgeting works but I also don’t like to keep that amount of cash on hand. I use a credit union. Than as my direct deposit paycheck goes into checking I divide it up between bills and savings

For sure!! I never carry this entire thing with me hahaha. I only take the folder for said items I’m about to go buy (take the pets folder when going to buy dog food, or the grocery folder when I’m going grocery shopping) or I just take my card out if I need it. The binder itself stays at home. But of course, whatever style works best for you!! I prefer using cash & visibly seeing my money & amounts & usage than swiping my card. 😇

@@MyDriftingDesk for sure this makes sense. my credit union has an app that shows me all debit card transactions and how much I’m spending each month. Plus I do use my one credit card a small amount and than pay it off before due date(doing this to help with my credit score) it’s actually gone up 40 points in 2 months just by putting a small transaction $25 to $50 on something I was buying already.
