The stock market is a complete fantasy and Lynette is absolutely correct about the PPT. I use the analogy of the stock market being the stopwatch that is used to hypnotize the public into believing that everything is okay.

The current system is completely unsustainable. The only reason it continues 'as if' is lending and debt. Lending for healthcare, for homes, for education, and plain old credit cards. trouble is, when the bottom falls out, the lenders get bailed out and consolidated, and everyone else loses their shirt.
My greatest worry is how do we recover from all these economic and global troubles? Especially with the political power tussle going on in the united states.

Agree with Lynette on almost everything, except with her solution to buy gold. That hasn’t worked in the past for a few reasons, it’s hard to transact with and isn’t portable or fungible. Bitcoin has better attributes and will be a better money for the Information Age and the sovereign individual

Agreed, she did a solid job of qualifying Lynette's [reasonable, logical, almost certainly correct] deduction as such, rather than as a categorial fact.

I'm not convinced that it's designed (except the Proxy War against Russia.) I think it's absolute incompetence, dealing with a complex system that know one understands. It's never been done previously.

The Fed is no doubt at fault when they were too slow in controlling inflation in the beginning and now they are trying to do extreme catchup. The pandemic, the supply chain issues, and the Ukraine war all contribute to this perfect storm of brewing inflation. Don't forget the big spike in housing prices, that's another reason the Fed is having a hard time-fighting inflation. All in all, cash in king now and milk that high savings rate if you got the cash...

The xcd is pegged to the usd at 2.7:1 and regulated by the eastern caribbean central bank (eccb) who have recently rolled out a cbdc disastrously. I'm just watching the situation because for now, it's just opt-in. For now. But, as usual, we have been painted in a corner with the usd and in a position we have no control or power.

If SVB was bailed out it would still be here today. The bank wasn´t bailed out; the depositors were made whole after the bank was declared bankrupt/insolvent and then turned into FDIC recievership. The assets are being sold before all the depositors can be made whole. We don´t know yet to my knowledge if all the depositors are made whole yet (assets will need to have been sold). The banks stocks have gone to zero so stockholders are wiped out.
Too bad our current presidental administration, all of them, have their heads way up their backsides. Our once great and free country is moving toward less and less freedom. How very sad. 😢

So we have a debt crisis....hmmm why the hell do we have the money to send to the Ukraine and others but we are in the hole....where's that money coming from?
but if you buy gold and silver there is always a transfer fee to convert that back to a currency. so will lose 10% or more on a round trip. further more, who knows, without exact testing, that the gold or silver you buy is actually non-diluted. in a real crisis its going to be hard to barter with all the different coins that will be out there and how much each person will value each one.
@@katymeigs5290 they are using fear to sell a commodity that might too lose value in a modern world. commodities have no intrinsic innovation in them which is where true value is held, least for a while until a newer innovation out values it.
I suggest that you get a small scale, and a measure/caliper for coins, to detect fakes. China has counterfeited MANY coins and bars, especially gold. In fact, there was a gold bar that came out od storage at the LMBA, that had been stored at least 20 years, and was discovered to be titanium, coated with gold. Shocked the gold market.
Rafi Farber just posted a video where he looked at the stress tests on the banks. None of the stress tests included testing with rising interest rates, only when rates went down or were zero. LOL. The banks are safe!
Here’s my stupid question: If there is going to be a CBDC for the US, doesn’t the US population get to have a say in it? Isn’t this something that should be put to the citizens to decide? And if we don’t have a vote in this deal, do we really have a democracy?
We haven’t had a real democracy for years. Evil people are so embedded in our government that they can do basically whatever they want, they just need to ease into it. The best thing we can all do is simply NOT USE IT. spread the word
Governments are usually just pawns of the elites who actually run the world. Politics is corrupt to its core sadly. Governments get away with ushering in radical changes without referendums by saying 'we were voted in so we have a mandate to do this'.
