Fed up with boring Army Life 

My daughter and I have watched your channel since you started and she followed a lot of your advice and has been in the Army for nearly 3 years now...

I don't get how anyone could in all seriousness have anything negative to say to you. You're a force for positivity, both physically and mentally. You're always showing the reality, but in a good way and with an eye on tips for how we can all deal with our own life struggles. You've never been afraid to talk about the mental health side of things, and I cannot tell you enough how much that means. Keep doing what you do best, and I'm 100% not going to miss this many of your vlogs again. Stay safe big man!

Hi Fabziy. I got back from my army assessment centre yesterday, and just want to say a huge thanks to you. Your videos were a great help and massive inspiration to me. I passed with an A grade, with a medical deferral, which should hopefully be easy enough to clear up. Keep up the good work brother!

Just found your channel mate. Served 9 years in REME. Do i miss it, yes 100 %. I still struggle with civvy street, your food looked top notch. Wish you all the best on your military life , sometimes it is difficult. Just remember the good times. Stay injury free you will be ok. I am now unable to work, due to motorbike accident. Broken back. Both legs. But my army training still keeps me strong and positive. Best of wishes.

pocket 2 is a great cam staff. The face tracking can be a bit touchy though - doesn't like it if it's too low - it likes to be front and centre at eye level. I've a little tripod with retractable legs. great for a desktop. Once you get your head round the different button press combos you'll be loving it - very versatile. I use it like personal cctv when i'm out taking photos. great for vlogging too. Thanks for uploading your vid. Hope all is well!!

I just want to thank you for this channel. I did my assessment centre back in September, starting my phase 1 on 6th March so that's 2 weeks this Sunday. Your videos make me more excited each day. Any advice for phase 1 and even trade training? I'm going to Harrogate then Lyneham to train to be a VM in the REME.

My friend this is not boring. In my opinion this is a lot better than civilian life because you have so many worries such as rent, council tax, bills and many more. In the military everything is cheap and you get good meals for a fair price. Enjoy because there trust me civvy street is difficult.

I know basic training is fun and phase 2, but when your a full soldier dose it get boring with not much to do?

Army life can be great,,,but admin is important too. Plus looks like the scoff is better than we had initially while training. The ACC must have improved or is it outside caterers??? All the best.

Hi Fabzy thank you for your commitment to this, great work 👍 Just a query though my Son is in the Signals completed phase one at Pirbright now at Blandford....but since joining has lost loads weight not through training as very little physical training in current times?#@€£ The majority of food he eats is bought from shops or takeaway as the cook house food is expensive and in his and his colleagues opinion SH1T! What is going on I served with 1 Green Howards, Infantry back in the day, the principal then was an army marches on its stomach....we were encouraged to eat in the cook house the food was good , you had the social aspect to , my Son spends a lot of his time in his room alone this in my opinion not good , look forward to hearing from you.

Don’t think the army’s boring but that could depend on your trade.

Hi mate, I'm currently appealing for my application to be reviewed to be in the army, I first applied when I was 18 and am now 25, my application got denied because of an ACL injury I had back when I was a teenager but this does not affect me. I have spoke with the recruitment office they said send an appeal letter and get proof I am fit and well, which I have done both instantly, so after all this time, not being able to do anything because of a suspended sentence for the past 2 years also which is now over. Do you think I have a chance of getting in? I have been trying for 7 years now and feel like I'm finally getting somewhere, would be good to hear from someone in your position. I currently run 5-6km a day and am determined to be in the army. Would be good to hear from you boss. Keep up the good work. All the best.

I sympathise with Boris. Regarding the party - the staffers shouldn't have organised it, however during covid many people in government were working 16+ hour days, sometimes 7 days a week. Boris didn't organise the party, and wasn't told it was a party, but was an opportunity to meet and thank staff for their hard work. He also lives at the same place he works, it was more of after work drinks in the garden/break out area, rather than a specially organised party. I think it was poor judgement to attend but he shouldn't resign over it.
