@@FreddyFazbear-os4su I don't think they're cheaply made, I seen 2001s everywhere, even the older SRNs and they run fine, mostly likely not maintained. It doesn't matter what brand of sirens they install, if they're not maintained, they'll start to have problems.
@@AmericanSirenProductions I know what’s wrong the motor is either melted or worn out somebody replace that damn siren! With a Whelen they have a little bit better quality instead of a chopper motor it’s an electronic windup what a fast wind down too
I don't think so, My Hometown in Missouri has 2001'SRNs that have 240 running to the 208 tap causing them to be very high pitched. Those where installed in the late 90's
Woah! That surely is not a good sign. Might be because lower build quality due to lack of demand for sirens these days. Still, definitely not a good sign
This happened to one of the 2001 130s near me to, either that or it was struck by lightning, good thing there was an equinox at the fire station down the road
The motor didn't die, it turned off. Previous videos show the siren rotating even after the wind down first starts. Record it the next time it goes off and see what happens.
@@TheMatsushitaMan It continued rotating. Idiot! They’re supposes to srop rotating once the siren shuts down. And plus, the wind down was fast. IT FUCKING DIED!
130 replace a perfectly good working XT22 and look what happens now. I just dont understand why they replace those sirens with cheap shit instead of refurbishing them so they would last 60 more years. Pisses me off!
