Date: 6/1/22
Location: Owatonna Public Library, Owatonna, Minnesota
Temp: 75°F
Signal: 1 minute alert, 1 minute attack
Units Heard:
2001-SRNB (main unit) - 450 feet
Modulator 4016 - 0.25 miles
2001-DC - 0.4 miles
2001-130 - 0.6 miles
For the Minnesota test in June, Chris and I went to one of Owatonna's three sirens downtown. You can hear multiple different sirens all running at once due to their close proximity, especially the Modulator at the courthouse. Say what you want about 2001s and Modulators, but they sound absolutely killer together. Thanks for watching, and enjoy!
Steele County tests their siren system on the first Wednesday of every month at 1 PM.
