For the first Tuesday this month I decided to finally see the last 612 I had left to hear in northern IL. It has been quite an epic journey to get to this point, and I have enjoyed every bit of it! Next 612 I will be seeing will hopefully be a 612 with a UV controller. After seeing such I will finally have heard a 612 on every federal controller possible. Unsure of when I will be going to see such 612, but I imagine it will be within the year. Anyways this 612 was pretty loud given there was lots of wind, and many Whelens can be heard throughout the test doing alert and fast wail. Round Lake Beaches SRNs can also be heard (one at the end gets stuck on for an additional 30 seconds). As always, thank you for watching, and I hope you enjoy the video!
Side note: I apologize for my main shot going out of focus quite a lot during the video. The wind was blowing very hard causing my camera to lose focus. Next time I will be locking the focus so it doesn’t happen again.
