The one Fire Department i work for the older Ambulance has a Whelen 295HFS with duel speakers, duel rumblers, thing's a beast on phaser going through traffic in the city. They have it set on an 8 second timer so you can't forget to turn it off
Do you know if they sell this as a handheld siren to use it outdoors and indoors because I know this one is for cars only is there any for a handheld so I could use it in my house or outside in my backyard or front yard rumbler activated as well?
You’ve helped me before with my touchmaster. I’ve recently acquired a rumbler system. But even reading the PDFs from fed sig doesn’t make much sense of the wiring. Is there a way you could send me info of how you have yours wired?
joshua47315 I shared your struggles with the pdf’s and not being able to understand them. I sort of got lucky and figured it out, and I was meaning to do a full tutorial on how to wire it up, but things came up and I’m in the middle of moving out of state, so probably won’t get to it for a bit. It’s hard to explain, so probably a video would be the most helpful.
Yeah the PDF doesn’t seem to make too much sense. Also don’t want to mess anything up because of how many times in the pdf it states that it could cause damage to the amp or speakers. I know I’m going to have to extend the speaker cables from the speakers themselves. The rumbler I got came with the speakers amp mounting stuff but I don’t know if it even works he was unable to test it. Hoping it’s not damaged.
joshua47315 Indeed not damaging the units was highly stressed in what I read too. But for sure as soon as I’m able to, I will do a whole video on how to get it wired up.
How come I get a beep tone before my air horn activates sometimes and some others but not all the time coming out of my siren speaker? My touchmaster doesn't do that
can i get this for show purposes in South Carolina or would i have to ask the law here would like to redo my old 2010 charger PPV with some for car shows
I would check with the law just to be sure. Laws regarding lights and sirens even in show vehicles differ by state and county, so it would be wise to check first.
@@allintodrumsandguns oh wow that's not that bad, I was actually expecting it to be more. I don't need the "2021 version" the Version you have right there ( including the rumbler) is all I need.
