As a FedEx employee I recommend starting at a Ramp location Airport! work their for a year and you can than apply internally to any FedEx location in world Express only
OMG you gave me the perfect answer, because I used to be a beverage server at a casino and would help people with their slot machines. Thank you. I can just switch it. Lol
tbaby411 I did good at the interview but in the process of getting into FedEx I got a call from a Hospital (I’m in the Medical field) so I took that job instead of FedEx I told them. they were nice about it.!! How you did tho ??
@@jeffree123 My nerves was a wreck. I had two ppl interviewing me & I never had that before. Luckily for me, the second guy was on the phone asking me questions, so I just had one right in front of me. They were pretty cool. They asked me 9 situational questions & at the end he said I did good. He laughed at me cause I was sweating bullets like he did during his own interview. He had maybe 4 more to interviews to do & said he would call if I'm selected. So now is the waiting game. My only concern was would he give a woman a chance, I know that I can do it. But, at the same time, I don't see a lot of female drivers, maybe 2 or 3 in my town.
Just had my interview for express its intense!!! Front desk noted I was the only person who wore a blazer...but the interview was 7 questions 4 yes or no and 3 hypothetical questions via laptop manager and in person manager so well see good luck everyone!!! #Missourilocation #swingposition
Question, I applied at ups and their driving exams had you memorizing word for word their “5’s & 10’s”, honestly I sucked at being put on the spot like that with memorization. Does FedEx have any exams like that or is it a basic driving test and backing up etc.. thanks
Nice video! What was the main reason you quit? Heavy packages or some other reason. Also, do they have the route planned out on GPS like Amazon Flex does? What's the toughest part of the job?
@kaji why did you leave Fedex express? I have my interview tomorrow for PT SWING CARRIER. How many routes do I have to learned? Or am I just doing pick ups for multiple stops? How does it work?
Where you have to include 10 years of work experience? If, so that happened to me. It wouldn't let me add a part time job where I was working two jobs at the same time. I have 9 years of experience from 2 latest jobs and a part time seasonal job. I cleared out the work experience page a a couple of times, so I just added an extra year to one of the jobs to make it 10 years and it went through the next page of the application process. Hope that helps!
Hey I live in Oceanside. I recognize where you're driving in this video. You're coming from fallbrook on the 76. What fedex express did you go to? I'm trying to be a delivery driver for fedex express and not at fedex ground
Do they call you or send email bro because i missed a call from them weeks ago and i had no way to call back and I’ve been trying to get on express for months now...
Kaji Makerz They finally Called bro appreciate that, Actually they called and sent a email saying they want me to come in and tour the facility with the manager. Is that a step closer to me getting hired or is the orientation right after?
@@kajimakerz8493 thanks man. I applied for FedEx Express material handler and I couldn't work it because I didn't register for Selective Service. It was located at the airport
Just a hypothetical guess but in the trucking industry a DOT backround is 10 years and and non dot not security is 7 and under. So I'm guessing no more than 10 years.
@@vicentavalencia9304 so I did the interview, they told me it’s part time 24 hours limit no benefits, and they asked me if I was looking for full time and that they have full time available
a bro help me out on this... like everytime i applied for express handler... they never contacted me back... I’ve done it twice..im not sure if it’s because I don’t complete my application throughly..but can you give me some tips on what i need to in order to fill out my app the right way so i can be contacted... please reply!!!!
Also make sure you apply right when the position is posted...alot of people get family members or friends in before the public can get dibs. So that's probably Happening to you..
I applied for a p.t. delivery/courier DOT position. Do I need a CDL for this? Confused on this DOT stuff just did my physical and drug test. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
I had a call today for FexEx courier and she explicitly asked me that question. Ive got an interview next week. I know it doesnt answer yoir question but she did ask that.
@@kajimakerz8493 strange. She asked the normal "do you or family member work for Fedex or competitor" and quick driving history. Then "have you been a US citizen for 10 or more years"
Joaquin Castellanos Thanks for replying. They have me doing package handling since they don’t have courier class or driving school yet. it sucks but not sure how long i have to wait. i haven’t driven a big truck ever. any tips?
@@nacholibre2129 Defensive Driving course helps a lot. Just make sure you turn wider than you would in a car and you'll be fine. The Reachs are actually easier to drive than the sprinters
@CassaReactz i have the same route everyday, and I have a few bulk pickups. Because of that, I have to take a Sprinter or a 700 but the choice is mine. There usually arent many choices when I get there so I just take a super old sprinter.
@CassaReactz Honestly the interview was pretty tricky. He just asked a bunch of generic questions like "We sometimes have grueling schedules and rely on team members to be able to make everything possible. Tell me a time in which you were reliable." But they did that with like time management, efficiency, and teamwork. Just dont rush your answers, it's okay to take a second to think of the best answer.
@@kajimakerz8493 you didn't liked? I am trying to live this life of hard work in construction, to get a job with benefits and decent paying. I was thinking to get this job In fedex and another part time to complete the salary
