That’s the thing, technically I didn’t fail. It was just diluted so they wanted to schedule a retest which I did within a week of the initial test

What to wear to the interview?

I thought you would have the job already once they asked you to do background and drug test…. But you gotta do that first then get interviewed 🤦‍♂️

They trippin I did a zoom interview first, then they sent the details afterwards. My interviewer told me I got the job pretty much during the interview

Make sure you check the very bottom of every email they sent you and if you have nothing then just be patient but don’t stop applying to other jobs until you’re completely certain you got the job

How did your process with paper work go with first advantage? I just received mine’s everything looks like a go , accept for my D O T it says pending

I move slow lol so no more than 4 trailers a day normally 2 for me. What they do is assign you doors to unload and you basically sort the stuff out and take them to there designated trailer.

@@KaraiWilliams i just started as a a freight handler still training. How strict is FedEx on meeting your moves per hour? I know they require you to load so many slips per hour, but wasn’t sure if they enforce it. Being new, it’s kind of a fast pace and hard to grasp everything.. searching for pro numbers, building decking, making it all fit etc

@@KaraiWilliams just had my interview yesterday! He told me keep a look out for something in my email or whatever about drug test and to do my background. Is that normal lol he said it take bout 2weeks for me to get a email or whatever depends on HR

If you apply directly on fedex.com yes but if it’s on indeed they won’t until later in the hiring process

@@KaraiWilliams yeah I received an email today saying I can start Monday the reason they didn’t contact me was because the recruiter or lady in charge was out of town

Congratulations bro! The job is super easy you just have to take your time and make sure you do things right the first time because they will make you redo a whole trailer if you mess up lol have fun and good luck

@@KaraiWilliams Gosh, by now it's been a few days since the background check was finished and I have an appointment with them this Tuesday, They call it an interview, I was hired a while back in 2019, and I don't remember doing an interview at all, just straight to orientation, I really wanna get back in with the company because the benefits are worth it and doing a job serving customers is just a headache ya know?

I didn’t get the job but I ended up getting something that paid more with better working conditions
