for some reason i get all teared up seeing videos with this humble man... God how many fights I watched Fedor fight and be amazed on not only hes dominating performances but hes humble ways. not many off those around... JDS, Randy... Love em
When you watch his CC fight you realise just how good his SU is. He throws counters WHILE getting hit right on the face, he checks kicks with blinding speed, he took CC's best kick to the body and just walked thru it, and late in the fight he countered a CC kick with an inside leg kick against the ropes that just made me go WHHHHHAAAAAT?!?!?! Unreal.
I think Combat Sambo is the most compleating and effective martial art. I tried it in Riga, and it was really exiting. Even better than Bjj. The instructors got the same sistem of teaching, like Fedor. That's impressed me and was really nice.
he did a pretty good job actually, better than 99% of translations. especially considering he did russian to english and not russian to broken english!
it has to be very dificult to be in the top of mma world and dont became nor a little beat arrogant you need wisdom for that i think he is a wise man ,and also it is for his huble origins he is son of a welder i think their parents dave him a good education
@yourboss67 it wasn't just the fact that he had a big cut...the thing was that the attack that caused the cut was illegal (an elbow) with the rules of the match...but they had to pick a winner because it was a tournament. otherwise it would be a no contest
@JelleisOK what is your point that he cannot last in K-1? all those fighters you mentioned would get murdered in MMA and probably in real life too. being able to take people down and beat them up and or submit them is a huge advantage. if you can't defend yourself against that, you are very vulnerable. striking is only one aspect of fighting. grappling is another. to be complete you have be able to defend yourself against and use both. fedor took out cro cop, schilt, mark hunt and hong man choi
