Personally, I totally like asking for help, it is a wonderful skill, I love to help... but beside my wife it is very hard to ask for help. I can improve here... a very mature skill..thanks!

Only the truth can set us free . That is what I know and believe with all my heart . That is right I do respect honest people in my life and avoide dishonest ones . Someone who can not stand criticism about himself in this life definitely has problem - that is what I also know after 48 years of my life here . I respect people who say the truth about me to my face and avoid those who pretend to be my friends and when I do not see or do not hear they "put knife in to my back " ( like we use to say here .) Better to have one true friend ( or even do not have at all ) than to have 10 or more false friends .

At 1:45, venting is introduced. I've thought that venting, when done as a release alone, is unhelpful. I think that if you vent without spinning it out to actions for change, it actually more deeply entrenches the negative narratives that align with the venting narrative. I'd love to hear feedback on that idea of venting.

I'm tempted to just quote this entire clip ver batim on the Facebook threads of all my conservative and far left friends before I try to convince them to consider that they have blind spots in their ideology... 🧐🤔💥

Good information. Hard to believe that nobody took the time to edit out "um" that occurs way too many times in a professional speaker's video. Found this in many of Simon's videos. He has a lot of knowledge to share but needs to hire someone to edit "um" out of his videos like even amateur vloggers do to improve their much less important videos.

That feedback has to be constructive, to-the point, and well justified in order to be received and accepted. Otherwise, it's not feedback; it's criticism or vague antilogy. It's wise to seek for feedback, but not from anyone; just from people of good intention and common sense.

4:50 I want to have a conversation with you, but I don't want to have it. It makes me incredibly uncomfortable. I'm naturally avoidant of these kind of things and I would rather not do this. I'll tell you right now: the conversation that we are about to have, I don't want to have. In fact it would be much easier to me not to have this. But I'm going to tell you what I'm going to tell you, not because I want to do it (because I don't), but I love you and I'm going to tell you because I think you need yo hear it and if it makes you uncomfortable what I need you to do is understand that I don't want to do this and I'm doing it because I'm giving you a gift-- Not I'm giving you a gift. Please recieve this a a gift. Because I don't want to do it.
