I usually don’t comment on videos but I’m a single grandmother raising 2 grandchildren ( age 6 and 12) with no financial help from any outside sources. I work full time as a nurse but money is still so tight. I love seeing your easy , economical meal ideas! I have followed you for a long time and enjoy all your videos but these are helping me so much!!!
Hello my friend absolutely fantastic food I'm going to make the pineapple. Cake and also being Welsh I've never had sausage and gravy done the American way so I'm defoe going to do that and the roasted potatoe salad so thanks for the inspiration bestwishes from Swansea South Wales GB
Wow! Awesome inspiration for a variety of meals with generous portions. Fantastic way to stretch just one packet of chicken gravy mix. Thanks, and take care. 🙂
Loving these easy, inexpensive meals. Times are tough and I am still battling this cancer. I will definitely be trying the cake mix muffins and sausage and biscuits. Thank you and Charles ❤
Super 1 here, had the 20 pound bag of leg quarters for $2.70 last week. I bought 20 pounds to make dog food. I added carrots and oatmeal. I got 24 pounds of dog food, 2 gallon of chicken bone broth and 2 cups of schmaltz for about $7.00.
Thanks for choosing a realistic $ amount. Emergency budgets have their place but this is a more realistic way to keep food costs under control while also having some Good food.
You really have to stretch and be creative but you always manage so well, Noel. It’s wonderful that you show others how well they can manage if their grocery shopping is well thought out. Cold meat loaf sandwiches are the best! Thank you!😍🇨🇦
Yum! SO MANY wonderful options. I LOVE garden Rotini for spaghetti. Charles is SO cute and enjoys all the goodies you make for him. Sweet... Love the long video too. Blessings...
Printables for sure! I have decades of experience cooking as well, so need for detailed instructions. Raised 5 boys and a girl under the median income, sometimes even just food stamps. I can’t seem to get over trying to save on groceries!!
If you need to go to the food bank, they will help you with the basics like rice and beans and oatmeal. They will usually give out canned veggies and usually a loaf of bread. In the summer months they make sure they give water as well. Every little bit helps.
I am enjoying watching this series and all the ideas. I also had a giggle when the sausage gravy ended up on the stovetop; looks like my stove when I'm cooking😊
Love these videos showing how to stretch meals. I really like the pot pie and shepherds pie ones. Yummy. The rest looks good too, but those two speak to me!
About the bacon question, I put my bacon on a rectangle cooling rack, which is oven safe, place it on a half sheet pan, no paper. I save all my bacon grease. I bake the bacon no hotter than 300 degrees. I prefer 275. The grease drips onto the pan, doesn't over heat and the bacon doesn't spatter. The slower you cook bacon the less mess and it always get done, just takes longer.
I always bought in bulk an what ever was on sale of course i bought more of an incorporated it n if it were produce or fruit or protein ect an at times it was cuz i needed to save extra money but even when we were doing well still i shopped that way cuz y not ive never been a wasteful person or a just spend whatever an now my kids r grown with their own families an both shop the same as i did an they find it very helpful
@robylove9190 hey Roby. Things are going okay. I've been suffering from severe migraines since the sinus infections. We hope to find out why I keep getting them next week.
@@MrsAlmaTrumble I hope you find out so you can get treatment for them. I had migraines most of my life. Once I was diagnosed with sleep apnea and started using a CPAP I have never had another one.
