Feeding the cattle and sheep is a full day's job in winter. The cattle are indoors and have a mixture of home grown barley and beans with protein nuts from the local mill and brewer's grains from the local brewery.
I have worked with sheep for 10 and a half yrs and I know are clever now and even before I had some never thought they were stupid sheep are not dumb you take that back
@shepherdewan Hmm, I would personaly say cows are clever, but generally sheep have a repuatation for being dumb as they are oftern getting stuck of killed one way or anther.
@friesiancowboy if sheep are dumb so are cows and if cows are not dumb nider are sheep and sheep are still smarter than cows even if you like cows better
