Same in the uk, We go into truck stops during the day to get something to eat (takeaway only) to find they are shut, Open from 4 or 5 til 8 or 9, So we have to use fuel stop garages to get something like sandwiches etc, We are supposed to be the important workers to keep the country going, Yeah right! You truckers over there in the states, Stay safe, You are doing a fantastic job, Thumbs up from the uk 👍
So the smoke has settled. Its back to normal where alot of people don't give a rats arse about truckers but themselves. The roads may be quieter, but theres those in cars that still give us the regular brake checks. Ungratefull people. And yes. Having to wait in line for food is so dam ridiculous. You pull into a truck stop, fuel up with 200 gallons of diesel. Pull forward then go in hopping to find a coffee n food. Nothing. Its all gone. Now that really pisses me off. When electric trucks hit the market on a commercial level, I'll be saying, stuff the truck stops. In time of need, you couldn't be bothered looking after your biggest customer, the trucker. Stop taking us for granted. Electric trucks are a coming.
