That was so interesting. Thanks so much for sharing. I'll be planting comfrey this summer 😊

Thanks for the info. I’m considering getting some angoras someday….If you know a breeder in Ontario Canada or if anyone else knows I’d appreciate any information who I can contact. Thanks again.

There's a few angora rabbit pages on Facebook, there are some breeders in Canada in those groups. It might be a good place to start, just be careful, scammers are all over

You're welcome! I have several Canadians on here. I know they will be able to help you! In the states we have Angora breeders clubs and the ARBA (American Rabbit Breeders Association) and NARBA (National Angora Rabbit Breeders Association) Maybe Canada has something similar?

Thank you. I will be giving these two book a read. I plant a garden or my angora bunnies every year and forage for them, as well. This will be very helpful. I also use an app to identify plants on my property and then use an internet site which has a list of safe and non-safe plant for rabbits. I also grow comfrey, nasturtium and borage for my buns, all of which grow like crazy. They will take over your garden and the borage and naturism will reseed themselves. I have a dandelion and plantain patch, as well, as wild growing clover, oregano and mint. I also feed Timothy hay, which I haven’t been able to get it to grow and pellets. My vet says not to feed any pellets, so I have been trying to grow more and more myself. My vet is Eastern European. Those people still know how to farm.

Your gardens must be beautiful! Are you in the US? I like your vet:) here they always say pellets if nothing else. The books have great information.

So happy you did a video on this book review, I saw it on your story and it looked really interesting. I had heard about willow twigs as a play toy, but didn’t think it was such a large part of the diet. That’s really interesting to hear. I wasn't expecting Kale to be such a large recommendation. Thankfully, I have plenty of kale. Thanks for sharing your feedback on the book, I look forward to your further research on the fiber rabbit aspect.

Thanks for watching! The book had some great lists. I'm going to get started with the willows and move on from there. I have some winter planning to do!

I bought the Penguin book about a year ago. Just ordered Beyond the Pellet. I'm busy drying lots of herbs, some for our use & some for the buns & chickens. My garden is quite small so there will not be enough for the whole year. Just starting is important. Thanks for the book recommendation.

Thank you for watching! Yes, just starting by implementing some of this will be great!

Comfrey came to my attention this summer for multiple reasons. One thing I have read, plant it in a spot it can thrive and you will not want to move in the future. The roots go deep and you may not be able to eliminate it once established.

Good to know! Yes, Comfrey is a great plant to have for all kinds of things. I'm going to be planting a patch.
