This summer a Tree Swallow that was successfully rehabilitated in our care used a unique strategy to try and get a meal first! While all the other Barn Swallows patiently waited their turn, the Tree Swallow would always jump on the back of a nearby swallow to reach just a little bit taller for a cricket!
