I actually recently recinded accepting a job offer because I realized the position relied on exploiting me even more than my current job. They actually called me a tried to offer me more money to take the job which told me that I made the right decision.

on the whole "getting locked into an arena" thing, it happened in Okami, too. I'm loving how everything goes to the beat, the animation and style. Looking forward to more!

The only licensed music is the boss fights and the streamer songs are just as good if not better than the licensed tracks. I personally like Too Big To Fail much more than 1,000,000. And it does switch between 2D and engine visuals

1:56 Its actually both, but in this initial cutscene it's mostly 2d, idk how i can tell, maybe its the outlines and they way they do shadows? The way to tell is to look at the robots, those guys seem to be always 3d. The fact that in blends in so well is amazing

Regulations can also be a pain when it comes to pay. I work for a university and there are so many different unions there that have to interact with each other. I want to be clear that I love unions, and am not anti-union, but sometimes heavy regulations can make things difficult. It is pretty much impossible for an office worker at the university to ever get a raise, because the unions demand everyone else get a raise at the same time. Because I don't have a fancy piece of paper that says I can beep boop on the computer and do data entry, I got started at the lowest pay grade ($1 above minimum wage). I just have to work my way up, even though I pretty much carried the front desk through the pandemic when I was just a lowly student worker. To get better pay here as an office worker, you have to move jobs constantly to whatever is offering the highest pay at the time. Since this is a university, different departments receive different funding based on what is "valued" at the time. This causes so many problems (I've been in HR this whole time so I really see this all play out) because people are moving around all the time, no one holds a position for long, so no one ever knows what they are doing.

Price, pay attention to the character's hair. You'll notice that in-game renderings on the main character has several "shines" permanently painted on the model's hair. But there's several scenes where he has a much simpler 2-tone style. The 2-tone is 2D animated and the other is a 3D model. You'll also notice that there's not many profile shots in the 2D scenes. It's harder to sell mouths sideways, so they have the characters looking slightly at the camera or do the "mickey mouse ears" and paint the mouth off center. I really like graphics in games, and seeing the animated parts was a nice and refreshing twist. Looks much nicer than the cell-shaded 3D models.
