Haha very kind of you to say Brian, I see your a Roberts we must be related somehow down the line, starting a base for this next, got a few ideas, but any help as it progresses would be much welcomed, all the best Carl
I have now watched this clip several times and now I know what I unfortunately don't like. With such imaginative projects, there is easily the danger that one detail is too present and thus "ruins" everything else. In this case - for me - it's the feathering propeller. I am sorry.
Never apologise Michael. I really appreciate people that say lovely things about my layouts ,but also I very much appreciate constructive criticism. the funny thing is the feathers were never meant to be there. I started off with a three blade propeller from a plane swapped that for a ship propeller, now I did like that, but there was just something about it. Maybe it was too chunky then I tried to rowing oars are they just look stupid so I added the feathers? If you can think of anything you think would be better please chip in, or maybe I should've just left it off. I've started the layout board and will do a post on that later. All the best.
@@carlroberts2539 I was leafing through my book ‘The Early Morning Milk Train’ and quite far back (unfortunately there are no page numbers) there is the wagon ‘Lazybeach Special’ with what almost looks like sunshades (but it could also be a beach tent or something). How about a small rotating parasol?
