Thank you! 6 weeks into recovery now from laparoscopic bowl surgery and about 3 weeks in I felt these little lumps below my two larger incisions. They are visible from the outside but feel like little hard bumps under the skin. After seeing your vid I’m hopeful they will go away.
I feel this right now 10 days post op. I feel it more when I’m in my feet and when I lay down it’s not there. I was scared thinking it’s a hernia. Yes it feel like a very hard golf ball.. Thank you so much!!!
This is what I’m feeling now. 10 todays post op. When I stand it protrudes much more. When I lay it’s hard but much smaller. Should I worry about a herniation?
3 weeks post laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy, i almost book an apointment with my OBGYN, cos i can feel that bump on one of my incisions, i freaked out a bit,but thank you Dr for info.
thank you for this video. I have had a Sistrunk procedure. There is very little information online about the recovery process. I did not receive much information from the hospital, regarding the post-op. This resulted in me returning 2 times to the hospital within the first week after returning home, due to a very very swollen, painful, and uncomfortable area around the incision. Now 3 weeks down the line, the swelling, pain, and discomfort are almost unnoticeable. However, now I have noticed 2 hard small "golfballs" at each end of the incision, connected by a hard lump. It is painful to touch and freaks me out. Now, I am hoping what you have explained in your video can also be what is going on in my incision.
Thank you, Dr. A! Day 8 post op VSG and noted that exact “bump “ located only on one incision - happens to be the one directly above my belly button. I’ll give it time. PS - you have been a godsend and my #1 resource as I researched having the procedure done for over a year! Thank you for all you do! Can’t wait to see some amazing results combined with hard work moving fwd! Bless! ❤
