@@AirtimeThrillshey dude, im going to fiesta texas, this december, the day im going its gonna be open from 2 pm to 9 pm, you think i can ride all the coasters without flash pass?
Jeffrey Siebert is such a nice guy. Earlier this year on my USA coaster trip I bumped into him at the park and had a nice little chat. Some rides were down and he knew exactly what was wrong with them and when they'd open back up later in the day if things got fixed in time. As you say, you can see that he cares about the park.
5:48 My daughter is around same age/height as Sophie (and also loves coasters). Same reaction to SFFT Wonderwoman as Sophie. Look at the Wonderwoman ride photo of Sophie, you'll probably see the shoulder restraint hitting her neck. Jersey Devil at SFGAdv and Wonderwoman at SFMM have much improved restraints that allow kids Sophie's height to enjoy the ride.
Come on Chris, you can’t say “95 degrees, straight down”. You have to say “95 degrees- MORE than straight down”. I thought the Pythagorean theorem would have saved you from that. Great vid 😎
I know Fiesta Texas was cool before Six Flags acquired it but I'm really amazed that the chain lets it be so special and impressive. It continues to blur the line between amusement park and theme park and even their new attractions still get way better theming and presentation than anything else in the chain. It really is the Knotts Berry Farm of Six Flags.
I totally get why some people think Fiesta Texas is the best Six Flags park. While it doesn’t have the depth of some of the bigger parks, it’s top tier rides are first class and it’s theming and presentation and how it’s run is easily the best of the chain.
It is an awesome home park. I've lived in SA since 2018 and I FINALLY made my 1st - 7th trips to the park so far this year. Velocicoaster reignited my long dormant coaster love in April, and I bought a Thrillseeker pass for Fiesta Texas in June. Been enjoying making up for lost time.
Fiesta gets a lot of love since 2018 compared to sfne a dive and a raptor versus a free spin. I think they like this park and they seem to get it done execution wise.Hoping to get there next year
The theaming on Dr Diabolical is impressive, hope to see the character in more Six Flags parks soon (and I think she's taking over Mr Freeze at Over Texas so that is fairly likely).
@@dgvids6000 She's a more obscure DC Comics character from an alternate timeline to their main timeline in my understanding. Not an invention of Fiesta Texas. Knowing how the theaming didn't take long to set up I would believe Over Texas saw it and said "we want that", Salim said no to a new ride but they could get away with retheaming a ride theamed to the aweful Batman&Robin movie from the 90s that many going to the parks today have no memory of.
Theming at Six Flags, BGW finally announces DarKoaster, Queen Elizabeth Passes away (rip), Return of Football, Closing of Dragster. This week is weird and there’s still Friday and Saturday
I’ve been on the wonder man at six flags magic mountain and fiesta Texas, and the Wonder Woman at magic mountain is only slightly better than fiesta Texas, it’s less snappy and the elements are more drawn out but the ride is much much longer and the drop and zero g stalk are incredible
Great meeting you last week at Over Texas… we’re headed to SFFT in a couple of weeks for our Farewell Six Flags Tour… we’re opting for Sea World next year.
Its a lot of fun, a lot of very solid rides but best time to come is in the early spring or fall because the summer heat can be really intense and hard to deal with. I've lived in south Texas most of my life so I'm used to the heat but for people who aren't used to it the quarry can be a hell pit.
I went to Glenwood Caverns this past weekend with my family for my first time. Mostly went there for Defiance, but I think Cliffhanger was better ^^;; A very unique park I'd like to see you tackle sometime! (Also come back to Lagoon!)
Cliffhanger is a janky mess. I definitely rank Defiance much higher, though it's way too short and the shoulder restraints are awful, the elements are pretty interesting and somewhat unique. Gotta keep your head back, though. The whipping action of the rolls will make you smack your head into the restraints, which happened to me the first time. One of the many reasons lap bars will always be superior.
I have to agree. The coaster lineup is strong enough to combine with the theming and i think this is the best six flags park! I had a great experience in august without even riding iron rattler (it was closed)
I saw you uploaded this video but ive been staying away from vids involving dr Diabolical’s cliffhanger until i rode it. I finally rode it and i say its overall the best ride in the park, from the theming to the pacing i love it. Although i was thinking griffon would be better since its a hyper dive. Cool video and i love these vlogs.
Interesting that it might be getting rough. Could explain why the newer single rails go through the course a lot slower, I have not ridden one yet but EVERYONE seems to agree it blows through its course insanely quickly.
Honestly the ride is so fast that its hard to comprehend the roughness, you are in constant transition from one element to another that the body has a hard time staying in the seat. I have a hard time gauging its roughness even on my 50th ride.
Oh no your daughter is rebelling with her coaster list hhahaha 😂 love the videos buddy never stop what you love doing!!!! Sending the good vibes from Winnipeg 😎
I only visited Fiesta Texas once, but it's my favorite Six Flags park. While it may not have the lineup like Great Adventure, the park feels like Six Flags' version of Kings Island. It is run very well, and has great atmosphere.
I've been talking a lot about TTD in my buy or sell videos, and I've been pretty consistent on my idea that they will not tear it down, but they will likely change the launch system. Their announcement earlier this week seems to be in line with what I was thinking would happen.
Hurricane Force 5 isn't a coaster. That version is powered the whole time. However, there is a version of that ride with a hill that you go over. That version does coast somewhat, so it technically is a coaster. Park at OWA (Tropic Falls) has one of those, Wave Rider.
SFFT has been my home park for years, and I'm spoiled (I mean, there's SeaWorld SA right by it, but let's be honest). Year after year, this park keeps stepping it up with great thrills and improvements for guests. I went to the grand opening for Dr. Diabolical, and it was a grand affair. The actress who voices Diabolical in the preshow and on-ride audio was there in full costume (she as the character was also the MC for Fright Fest last year), and they set off fireworks and everything. Basically every time they add a new ride, it fills an empty spot in the park's lineup, to the point where if they want to build another coaster-- besides needing to make room-- they'd need to go a bit more niche with it, like a flying coaster/wing coaster/new model like the axis or surf. Though some days, I do have to agree with Sophie about Wonder Woman. You ride so close to the track that you feel every imperfection in the steel, and the restraints are legitimately painful. As someone who is of average build, but with a longer than average torso and prominent collarbone, the straps on the vest dig in and can bruise me. I still ride it, just not every time.
Do you think ride layout will get upgraded for top thrill dragster. For example add a rolling inversion on top of the top hot. While coming down the top hot the ride will go into the worlds largest dive loop.
you are ROCKIN that iron gwazi shirt. that is a platinum teir coaster for me I have never had an experience like that before. although I have never rode steel vengeance before I still say it is the best
I remember Cedar Point's clown haunt for a long time was Carn-Evil. They stopped doing it a couple years ago, so I wonder if Six Flags trademarked it. Or it could just be a very generic name for a clown haunt.
Just did a back seat ride on Flight of Courage, the brake run was was off and the ride was full of ejector moments. It was mid day during the heat wave with a full train. It seems to have been running way better than when it first opened.
I was there Sunday, and Wonder Woman didn’t feel rough at all. I’ve ridden every other single rail besides for stunt pilot, and it felt the same to me.
Ayee he’s finally in Texas 🙌🏾. If you’ve got time on your trip, don’t forget Kemah, Boardwalk Bullet. If the weather is decent 🙄. Really wanna see your opinion of it.
I remember going to the park 3 years ago just when I turned 11, I rode everything and god damn I love this park. Wonder Woman is rough and prob unlikeable by kids, Iron Rattler was my 4th RMC and superman was so fun. I want to revisit this park so bad, but this looks like a fun park to hang out. My first credit was Magnum XL-200, so I could handle intense coasters like Goliath at that time, and yes I love the batman clones.
0:14…Oh,Wow! THAT LOOK she gave you, Chris…I’d think twice with the Dad jokes around Sophie! They WILL come back to haunt you, someday…(speaking from experience)
damn I must have just missed you guys because I was marathoning Iron Rattler pretty much the whole day on Saturday. People shouldn't sleep on Joker Carnival of Chaos, that ride can deliver some real forces.
Like that dive coaster. Yukon is still taller and faster. Is this park open all year round. Wonderland is only weekends now.. Amy is a cutie. Looks like a real fun park.
Which day during labor day did you go? I was there Sunday Sept 28th and poltergeist was off and on all day until they finally closed it early for the day around 4pm.
Went there for first time a couple weeks ago on a road trip. Every coaster was open…except IRON RATTLER. Still had a good day but such a bummer I gotta wait to ride it. Don’t know why it seems like I have bad luck with RMCs same thing happened to me at Kings Dominion and Twisted Timbers…got 7/18 US RMC credits should have 9!!!
Something you didn't note about Dr. Diabolical's theming is the crew working the ride all have Dr. Diabolical themed uniforms ala Universal. Also, count me in the side of people who dont like WWGLC's roughness. I ride Jersey Devil somewhat frequently and its a far more enjoyable experience the Golden Lasso Coaster
Back couple seats + no brake run is the only way to ride WW FoC, imo. Front and middle seats are nearly forceless and the brake run kills all momentum. It seems like increasing the scale on all the elements from the original doesn't actually increase the forces or fun factor of a Raptor. Super fun in the back though.
