This family is living outside of America it's a good thing. Black Americans need to learn how to live around the world just like this family doin. Go somewhere and have a peace of mind and live in new system nat only the white man system in America. Nice video bro keep it up I really appreciate ur work. If u go in Africa u will see Europeans Asians Indians. Because people understand living in one place is nat good u need to move and experience new life styles.
@@tracywalker244 yep today world we are living in u need to get used to new life styles. You can come America anytime u want but now you will come with something new. Old life styles and new life styles they are all part of you enjoy your day be safe.
People should not lump all blacks in the " Ive never been anywhere .'' category! Don't assume BLACK PEOPLE haven't gone anywhere. My husband and I have been going out the country for years, and our children at 12 had passports and traveling, until they got older and had to get their own. But they are well traveled ,most of my family and DEFINITELYB THEIR children are also well traveled! ThEy have gone to Africa but it's one of few places that MY household hasn't...but we will soon . I just cringe when I see people assuming WE are all just running around the usa. I mean no harm , but that's just not true.
@@changeyourmindfirst9665 wow that's very good to hear. I didn't said black Americans can't travel, because I know most black Americans that travel around the world. I always tell people traveling can expose ur mind also it can help change a lot on you. What I was saying is black Americans need to live out of America little bit more to get away from the white man system. America will always be your home you can come back anytime you want. But it's always good to learn new life styles and live in new systems that's what I mean.
Oooo my I love the Achimota Mall my favorite place to eat there is KFC Kentucky Fired Chicken it’s so fresh tasting... Thank you for sharing your experience and your Family beautiful 🙏
It's the African way..you learn very early that your good behaviour or lack thereof is a reflection on your parents. As a kid you have a vested interest in making your parents look good not just because you might get punished, but also because you love your parents. In western culture there is an excuse for everything and a tradition for passing the buck. This is something I noticed first hand when my family moved to the UK when I was 8, the kind of behaviour my white friends got away with is something none of the black kids (African or Carribbean) would dare. John & Safiyyah are simply raising their kids the way Africans have been doing for centuries..we even maintained this during slavery & colonialism..
mukuma Beautifully said. I notice this when I go to African festivals in the US the children are just so well behaved not one time did they have to announce we have a lost child. When I’m at an AA festival every 5 seconds they’re announcing lost child.
You have a beautiful family I love your channel learning about Africa Looking at everything I think it's beautiful there and tell your wife good job the girls hair is pretty and I pray you feel better soon.
Yo fam check this lady out on RU-vid: Ndudu by fafa. She is a Ghanaian who cooks good, healthy traditional Ghanaian food on RU-vid. Maybe your wife might find interest in her cooking and learn how to prepare typical Ghanaian green soups for the kids since you want them to consume more greens. Kontomire, okro soup, melon seed soup etc. Very healthy for your family.
My brother I fell in love with your show about three months ago. My favorite reality show is what's going on in your lives... Also one of main reasons I watch your show is because of the music track at the beginning of every show.... Perfect
That's a sample from the group LTD an r&b group from the 70's the song is called love Ballad do you guy know Jeffrey Osborne the lead singer of the group
Beautiful family i love to see a 👪 that stick together, enjoy your family man i enjoy my family too everytime we spend together is so precious, God bless !!!!
Thank you for taking me along on your journey. I have learned so much. I have also learned from those who you have interviewed as well. I think the both of you are doing an excellent job and truly represent what family is all about. I am proud to have made a contribution to help you along the way. Keep the faith and strive to do your best! Stay blessed. Amen
if you can get some silk peptide and add it to rosewater aloe vera juice/distilled water, it will soften the hair without buildup. I have locs as well and I don't condition, if I did, I would dilute it alot, I dilute my shampoo or make up my own with African black soap...very scared of buildup. Your daughters locs are all beautiful, you can see that they're not manipulated that much and the not twisting for a while is good, lol, makes the locs/roots thicker.
I love it! how you're teaching your children to save, and about finance. I did the same w my kids- I set up a matching fund scenario too- and they had to save their earned allowance to buy their large purchases..any special foods..like cereal that was not on budget they would have to pay the difference. They're all grown now and are pretty much self sustaining! Great job parents!
The girls are pretty like their mom,and they are nice like her as well. Please listen to part 13 1st of the movie Maafa21 in which dr Martin Luther King jr niece speaks. Black girls please STOP having ABORTIONS and taking BIRTH CONTROL as they ARE Black EXTERMINATION. and Interracial mixing and Marrying is black EXTERMINATION as well. BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL. BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL.
Safiyyah, would you consider doing a video on how you do the girls hair? Seeing you shop for hair products for the girls made me think of this. I truly appreciate you and your family's generosity of spirit in sharing your journey with us. What I love most is seeing a healthy, functional, loving, supportive relationship between a black man and woman along with their beautiful children. Sending waves of prosperity2014 and abundance your way family! Peace
Just love your family taking care of each other as true King and Queen with the little Queenies in the MotherLand - Ghana. BlessUp from Montreal Canada!
How lovely to see a brother and his family doing the good thing. I'm very inspired and so looking forward to joining you guys, all the way from New Zealand , in the motherland to enjoy real nature and make modest contribution too. I love you guys.
I love you guys, been watching your vids since the beginning. Beware of scam artists trying to get into your paper with suspicious business proposals, these fast talkers will have you cleaned out, keep both eyes on the ball.
Just Nigerians, don't generalize unless your 100% . I know they are scapegoats for everything in the West. My question is are they really the only ones. Or are they the most successful one's. What are they doing that we aren't familiar with in Amerikkka. They are the most educated mellinated people. Seriously think about it. I'm not making excuses for criminals. I don't have any record and don't ever plan on having one anytime soon. I tend to think outside the box and always ask questions. As we know things are never as they appear. Don't judge the same way everyone else is judging. Always ask questions and ask why, why and why. When the West is running a country and it's people down there is always a reason.
Blk Queen 1. are you assuming that I’m saying Nigerians are scamming us foreigners when we come to Ghana? Because i didn’t make any mention of scammers, so i really wasn’t talking about them. I understand because its under a post about being scammed but what I said is a lot have been coming to Ghana and they like to target us. As in when they’re selling, they know who the foreigners are and so know particularly well how to alter their sales pitch for foreigners. Whether its to scam or its a genuine deal 2. No-one generalised. The point was made that it mainly happens in Nigeria so i pointed out that there are a lot of Nigerians in Ghana these days. 3. I don’t live in the US so in my experience, Nigerians don’t get used as scapegoats like that, and IF they do, its banter between Ghanaians and Nigerians 4. Nigerians ARE very good at scamming. Whether they are educated or uneducated, they are naturally business minded, they know how to secure the bag and theres not a darn thing wrong with that lol. At the end of the day If you’re gona do something, do it well/properly; even if it IS illegal. No point in getting caught for halfhearted shenanigans🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️
All of the children are beautiful but Love the oldest so beautiful with a great spirit that comes through the camera...LOVE the music Mr. DJAAA that came in the spaces as you travel or do other stuff... Yep your hair is beautiful....agree retwist is important...Thank you guys for being such a success!
Thank you for sharing such a wonderful experience living in the motherland with your beautiful family..Your video was very informative with a vase amount of knowledge, for thiose who might want to take a tip too Ghana. But have cold feet and may need a little push, so thank you again for sharing. May there always be lots of love and blessing for you all.
I so like Native Borne family. Its so lovely to have beautiful black girls all growing up together in Ghana. What a blessing to you and your beautiful wife. Im a Ghanaian living in the Uk with my family. We go to Ghana every few years. Your approach to integrating your family in the culture is absolutely the best. Ghanaians by nature, are very friendly and open. Therefore, all you need to get on in Ghana is to ask and listen and you will learn. They are very willing to help. Good luck.
Get well soon. I missed the 2 little once. Another nice and also informational video to watch. The tea which is good for malaria. The sobolo l understand is good for cold. Continue the good job. God bless native borne family. People and also family like you make the world a better place to live.
I wish this family a very beautiful blessing, and may they never remain in permafrost but to continue to grow in every aspects, very inspiring clip and to see the unity of a black man and his wife and children away from the hostile and toxic environment of the USA to the natural environment of the motherland is one of the best things I've ever seen, I am even more impressed with the young sister' s knowledge of the local currency, as for me when I travel, I have little knowledge of how much change I am supposed to get back. Keep it up.
I thought this cover photo was offset (migos) lol, great video tho, i started watching all yall videos and there were awesome, your family is awesome, and those videos about discipline spoke to me in a way no one every has. ever young person should hear it
YOU ARE ALL SO WELL AND IT DELIGHTS OUR HEARTS. ALWAYS PRAYING FOR YOU ALL TO LIVE WELL, STAY HEALTHY AND THRIVE. CAN'T WAIT TO HEAR THE GIRLS ATTENDING SOME OF GHANA'S GREAT HIGH SCHOOLS; ACHIMOTA, WESLEY GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL, HOLY CHILD SCHOOL AND THEN TO COLLEGE AT ASHESI UNIVERSITY OR KNUST, KUMASI OR UG, LEGON FOR ENGINEERING, MEDICINE ETC. GOD BLESS YOU ALL ALWAYS.
The very moment you get to Ghana you get stuck...and leaving back to your home country becomes impossible ...the decision to leave becomes so hard..cos everything is lit
Every time I watch your videos I get more and more inspired. Every little detail from the herbs you grow, places you shop and eat to where your family lives is an inspiration. Thank you both for sharing your life with us. God bless you!
Hi Safiyyah. If you are interested in a natural conditioner, just use rose hip seed oil. In a small spray bottle with purified water put about 6 drops of rose hip seed oil . Shake the bottle. It blends well. I use it for my mom's locs when I retwist it for her. And it separates the locs easily and calms frizz. It is still necessary to use some natural oil after to seal the moisture in the hair. But it works so well at softening the hair that I no longer use conditioner on my hair or my daughter's hair. It can be used for face and skin too. This essential oil lasts. A little goes a long way.
Very smart!!! The parents talking to those babies about $$$. This is the kind of thing I wish my parents had helped me go over when I was their age. I had to figure it out all out myself. They are AMAZING parents. They making sure thos babies grow up to be smart!!
@NativeBorn, your video life journey is dope . I enjoy watching your channel . You have everything you need to get well, a good wife , a family , and plants to heal you your body .
