WODE MAYA you’re totally welcome to the USA unfortunately I don’t think you’re gonna love it nearly as much of Africa simply because no disrespect I’m American born and raised however both of my parents are from Ghana and I feel that I identify more with my Ghanaian side been in America most of my life I can honestly say I’m totally over it lol don’t waste your plane ticket I mean at least not twice once maybe but definitely not twice and you guys don’t come for me it’s just my honest opinion🤷🏽‍♀️

John Appiah...you can help lobby your government and the African Union. I'm a continental African myself and I've been seriously thinking about lobbying the African Union. But I have to put together an organization first. Blacks in diaspora from any corner of the earth should not have problems relocating to Africa. Africa needs to make it easy for our brothers and sisters in diaspora to come back home.

I love this channel and your positive energy! I am AA and I always thought how amazing it would be to visit Africa. But always had the fears that he mentioned in the video about Africa. That's because in America they only show you the bad things on TV that is happening there. But when I see videos like this of Africans inviting you come and welcoming you with open arms. It literally make me so happy I want to cry. Just imagine how powerful we could be if we all came together and helped to build and develop Africa like we helped to build in develop America. We would be unstoppable.
@MI-vn4tp
@MI-vn4tp 5 лет назад
Pinkwillow 55 The only problem I have is his host that got a woman from China. I’m so tired of seeing Black men getting women from their oppressors. That’s like taking sand to the beach all the beautiful black women there are in Ghana. Until we can love ourselves as a race we’ll never be anywhere but at the bottom. Our oppressors taught us in their schools to think as individuals not as a race. We thought as a race after slavery up until around 1965. Then we listened to the BS from Martin Luther King and got with our oppressors. Even God told us not to mix with them. We didn’t listen like our ancestors they didn’t listen to God either and we’re paying for it today. Obama told Black people it’s okay for two men or women to marry and they voted yes to what Obama said instead of listening to what God said. Well never get off the bottom. Black people haven’t figured it out yet. Men like King, Obama and Jesse Jackson are bought and paid for by white government. They are not there to help us but to get us to do what the white man wants us to do. You’re right we could have used our talents to make Africa a super power if they didn’t sell us. We have very smart Black men but they love the white man who oppress them and hates them. The Black man is constantly trying to prove to the white man he’s just as good as him. In my opinion the Black man is far more intelligent than a white man and can out think him. America would still be working on the railroad system had it not been for Black People and our inventions they stole and got patents for which made them rich. Imagine what we could have done in Africa. Africans didn’t want help from our ancestors. They hated us because God made them leave Israel that was our homeland. Plus they didn’t like us because they worshipped many gods and we only worshipped one. We were blessed because we were the Israelites the chosen people of God. Hamites didn’t like that either. They were happy when they found out we were cursed by our God. They knew no nation could come against Israel as long as we were in our land and worshiping our God. It’s a long story because God still loves his people and is coming for us.

He made a very key statement that I try to explain to ppl over here in the USA and Canada. Growing up around people who look like you and seeing them excelling in all areas of life is a regular and normal thing in a country that is predominantly black and it makes a difference in your outlook. It's part of the reason why I told myself that if I ever had a child I would return home to raise it. I would want my child to have the same benefits of that mindset as I have.

Tabita Phiri I wish Africa would teach their children in school about Black Americans. Most of them don’t know anything about us, the Slave Trade or what happened to us in America. They should know this.
@glorytoyahzulu6229
@glorytoyahzulu6229 5 лет назад
@@MI-vn4tp I agree with you 100%. Our education system has to be overhauled completely! Our children know more about western world than Africa! This is why they run to Europe for greener pasture living the real green pasture at home. How will they know that they are much better at home than going away if they are not taught? This is our big problem. For us Africans to truly appreciate ourselves we need a robust education system based on our Africa ness history and all. We have eurocentric curricula which saves us very little. We have history about slavery but it was based on European understanding. They have included a lot of lies the popular one is: Africans sold their brethren into slavery.

Yes, this brother and his family are doing great things and living life in Ghana , he really inspires me to want to do the same and to possibly relocate there one day, I've been to Ghana twice this year and I plan to visit once again for the 3rd time in November. Love Ghana ! Everything they disscussed in the video , I can definitely relate to it. WODE, that was a very good interview you did with him.

Mi come get from 🇯🇲and actually live in Hartford, Connecticut in the States...Glade to know mi brother came from where I live. Many people here have been to Ethiopia and other countries of Africa. See you soon, Africa (By the way, I seriously hate to say Africa... much rather say, "the continent of Ethiopia, but both the words Ethiopia and Ghana mean "dark skinned" in their respective language) As always, RasTafari ‼️‼️ More blessings and more life brother❗

I love this video, thank you for doing it. I will be coming to Ghana 🇬🇭 next year with about 200 African Americans for the big celebration of the 400 year return. I recently found out that I am Ashanti, which is making my visit to Ghana is more special for me since I know people over there and one of my friends fiancé uncle is a King! All of my Ashanti brothers and sisters over there that I have spoken to have told me that they are waiting for me to return home to them all. I can’t wait to go home and visit with them all. Thanks again for making this video, bye!
