My husband and I bought 16 acres a year and a half ago and have tree by tree bush by bush cleared a couple of acres for a house and we’re so excited as were building it! Put in a big garden, NOT living there yet, just because I’m that anxious to get it going! Was a huge success, and can’t wait to be permanent! All from the success of what we’ve learned on all of these channels and what we’ve taken from what we have known for years and applied all! Happy birthday Jenn! Zack, it is nice to hear a man say such uplifting things about his wife. Once my grandmother and great grandmother ended up in a nursing home my grandfather said: "I will never complain about what a woman does all day". He ended up with the responsibility of the whole household and I guess it overwhelmed him ...but at least he could cook. We as couples need to see the good aspects of each other and appreciate that.. I will be totally transparent. I used to watch like 4 different homesteading RU-vidrs. Life happened and I have not watched anyone in months. I got overwhelmed, I was severely depressed. I loved watching you and the ones I did. But my mind was far from this. Maybe there were some that were life just happening. I started watching in 2019. You all are real. I don’t agree with everything you think, but your actions are humane so I don’t have any complaints. I think of you all as members of a neighboring community/clan. Respect & honor are not determined by sight or political beliefs, they are determined by actions, merits & for me you all have that in abundance. I might not be in your clan, but I know when the going gets tough you all will be as concerned for my clan as I am yours. That’s what you all are about to me & why I watch loyally. You recognize different doesn’t mean wrong, it just means being clever & constantly improving on our understanding. It’s wise (also admitting your wrongs & showing progress to address them, is wisdom I find here frequently & greatly appreciate).

A big Happy birthday Jen, and I love all your video's . I miss being on a farm I grew up when I was young on my grand parents farm. I enjoy seeing the farmsteads and growing food and preserving it and all Jen's cooking. We live in a apartment and cant afford right now a pressure canner, and not allowed to have more than 2 pots for flowers , We are still trying to get a small piece of land and get a moblehome on it still once we are able so I can have a garden , So I love to watch you and several others to get ideas and love to see your wonderful lives. The loss of my husband this year has been the most set back we have had for me and my 2 youngest children and 2 of my grandkids, we all have to live together to make ends ,so our dream is still in our hearts to have and we are still pushing on to get there. Just do you guys. Love your channel. What drawed me to your channel was you were a suggested video that popped up. So I watched. You just had the most giggly laugh and a mischievous smile that made me laugh. Then I seen videos with Jen and just made the videos even better. I just been so busy with our own homestead have not been able to catch up on all your videos. I did get a bit burnt with the barn chat rants but if that is what you felt you needed to do to express your self then nothing wrong with them. Just keep creating and being you.
