Down Syndrome can be extremely different than Indy. Rory is blessed she is high functioning. Some aren't able to comprehend and need continuous care in hygiene and toiletry. God bless all parents especially those who pour themselves into their children's needs.

I'm French and it was a good exercice for me to listen to this interview... My eldest sister who used to be a nurse, worked with Down Syndrome people 5 yeras ago and she met the most wonderful people of all her career.. She just considered them as different but not less.. And Rory can be proud of his cute blessing daughter ! and one day she will realize how lucky (even if she has to grow up without her mom) she is to have such a great father !

Being grateful is such an underutilized but powerful thing! It's impossible to be truly grateful and unhappy at the same time.

Rory and his wife were both loved by many. It is so sad she passed away 🙁 he is a great Dad to his youngest daughter and his older daughters.

Thank God, we are not cookie cutter humans. All my children had different roads to travel. I have a teacher with business background and mother, a nurse/ gemologist and home rental and mother, a very high IQ massuese, artistic carpenter, plumber, amazing cook, and mother. All have ADHD, OCD. They were never told they were different but learned they could accomplish anything with hard work and tenacity. i had 4 daughters. 3 amazing living successful people.Thank you , Rory, for making us know that all have a purpose in our lives

Rory is a good man...He and Joey had such an amazing love. Little Indy is so precious and Joey loved her so much. Rory has been through so major grief....The loss of someone you love is the hardest....I lost my daughter in Aug 23 and its been the hardest thing ever. Joey's journey through cancer was so sad..Joey loved the Lord.....Thank you for doing this video...God bless you...

Rory Feek is a very wise man and I think lots of people could learn from him. I have followed him and Joey for a while and even saw the replay of him and Joey on the talent show. I was surprised when I saw Naomi Judd was a judge on there and she said wonderful things about the singing they did.

Rory hit the nail on the head about the modern day internal conflict!! Really something worth reflecting on and also implanting the necessary changes so that we can put that conflict to bed.

Rory is a man after Gods on Heart!!!! This world is a better place with him in it. ❤

Really, really enjoyed this interview with Rory. Personally, I didn't see anything wrong with the way it went.

I love Rory's spirit, I'm guessing this was filmed a couple of years ago since Indie is 9 already. I loved "This Life I Live" that was on RFD channel and the content that centered around the school on his property. I am 63 and oh how I would have loved to have gone to that school, it is so special.

Your music is therapy. Your life is a therapist. Being grateful and not holding grudges are strategies to healing and rerouting other people's lives.

Wow! Our oldest daughter chose to marry a woman. She divorced and her heart was devastated. She remarried her yet again. They are volitile together. Our family is Christian and my daughter grew up in a christian school. We have tried so hard to love her through the disaster, but boy it's hard. She has terrible anxiety, lupus, amd healthy crises galore. She isn't truly happy. I firmly believe that she won't be content until she does what God wants her to do.i worry that God will call her home because he will grow tired of her not listening. Rory really spoke to me.

Rory is an inspiration. He brings smiles to my face watching him makes me smile. You living in the moment makes you a fantastic parent

I’d like to say that I didn’t even realize you did interviews.And this is a great interview. My reaction is one of wonder. I think for a man that may believe that a lifestyle might not meet his religious belief system he kept it simple and lived by the pure and unconditional love Christ taught us which is unconditional.. I hope other people conflicted with other family or friends choices they can see the value of that kind of love. Thanks for sharing his story. Oh and you are way to picky. The filming was fine. Don’t ever let the quality trump the content. Because this was about words not pictures. Thanks for putting this out there.

I so agree my girls are such a gift. They both have autism and I love their unique look at the world. I love that they speak their heart. My younger girls have older siblings and like us we don’t see them with “disabilities” but different abilities. My girls cook for themselves and help around the house. They are just a blessing. About Rory as a father. Late life parents are different because of life experience. Wisdom makes us different. It’s a great interview thanks for sharing it.

When I lost my Mike, I tried to find love but something just wasn't right every time. It took me eight years to find the one I am destined to be with for the rest of my life or (God forbid) his. It's so hard to lose someone you love so very dearly in life. I'm grateful beyond words for my Rob. I'm also grateful that Rory has again found love. Every time real love comes, it is unique. With Mike, the word passion did not give enough emphasis on what was. Rob and I had passion but more so a calmer relationship from the start. I've walked three times through cancer with Rob. He's still going strong for which I am grateful beyond words. He and I are very different in politics and other ways. However, the love is genuine which gets us through a world of "hurts". I'm so grateful that we can get along and love one another despite any external barriers.
