@DAGSTERZ26 I agree, people you try to play fast think its cool, but anyone can play fast. The chart however, calls for it that fast, if you dont believe me, you can go out and buy the chart.
Ok so overall I think this was a pretty good performance of this piece. not sure if the 1st trumpet girl is in these comments or not but I just wanted to give a few pointers. The first is to play it on the flugel, it sounds soooo much better. I'm 1st trumpet and we are playing this piece right now and I've tried playing it on trumpet and it just doesn't fit the piece correctly. Especially in the solo section at the beginning and at measure 77. Also I think you should experiment with some more of the higher range. you definitely have a great tone and are really good! no doubt in my mind that you aren't! lol just relax a bit and shoot for the stars!!!!! lastly, I do think this was played a bit too fast. If you listen to the recording it isn't nearly this fast but as I noticed in the comments it is up to the director. good job guys!!!
