IMO, the flugelhorn is one of the most underrated, yet sexiest sounding instruments there is. And Fayeed Tan on the acoustic guitar adding a nice touch to this track. Superb job guys

This song is one of my all-time favorites. My 11 year old son is just learning to play the trumpet so I looked up this song to show him one of my favorite Flugelhorn/trumpet songs. I played Alto/Tenor sax for many years myself, and would love for my son and I to play this song together one day. I dare say that your cover may be better than the original. I absolutely loved listening to it!

An excellent cover of one of my favorite songs. I saw Chuck in concert back in the 80's and it was a great concert, but he did not have Grant Geissman playing with him to rip that awesome guitar solo. That took the edge off the concert for me because I have never seen it played live as was so looking forward to seeing his technique. There is a youtube video of Grant playing it at the Blooz album release event, and it is a sloppy rendition. But to be fair it was 40+ years after the Feels So Good album and I have no idea if he practices it much. I have often wondered if it is playable live, or was the work of a bunch of takes and editing because it is so blazing fast, precise, and perfect on the album. A guitar instructor once told me it was playable, but could never demonstrate that.

I remember hearing this song as a kid and was blown away completely as I attempted to explain the sound as well as shape of this soft fluffy fat horn to my cousin 🤣 I was a brand new trumpet playing student at that time and fell in love with this song. I’m 53 now and the feeling hasn’t left! Thx for the video. Niceeee!!!!

Absolutely fantastic job guys! I told my grandson, who just started in band, when I think horn I think of this song. He's tired of me saying "Alexa play…" and then telling him, just play like that and they'll let you do a solo. I hope you made it through the storm safe and sound!
