the way she uses her voice as an instrument on the "HOW" of "how come we never go there?" its literally ahorn in the middle of thatpart. Genius She does this all the time too. Listen to other records ofhers, she does it all the time. She also knows how to excite reverb with her voice perfectly. True skilled musician.

Puszczam to nieustannie od wczoraj na przemian z "My Moon My Man". Zapisałam oba te klipy na swojej playliście:"Uwaga... Dzieło Sztuki".Wyrazy wielkiego uznania ode mnie i podziwu dla ekipy dzięki której te klipy powstały.Trzeba mieć w sobie ogromną wrażliwość na muzykę, artyzm i niekonwencjonalne podejście by stworzyć coś tak pięknego. Ja nie sądziłam że mgła i liście paproci poruszane wiatrem mogą tak przepięknie grać, tańczyć oddając klimat muzyki. Obraz cudnie rezonuje z tym co się słyszy, podkreśla muzykę. Woopdeedoo. I see the resemblance between Take Me To Church's verse and this. Overlap actually happens pretty often in pop music. Chord progression have structures and it's not uncommon for different artists to stumble upon the same structures.
+Cédric Morier-Roy This is more than overlapping, there is a sense of melody being the same in both songs. Something that wouldn't just happen with structure being similar. Andrew Hoznier definitely listened to this song and maybe the melody grew in his head and gave birth to "Take me to church" - maybe it was by accident but that doesn't really matter. Both songs are great.

Feist's, New Single ' How come you never go there', may be a departure, from her previous work? But, it is one, HEAVY DUTY step, in the right direction! Shed has really, stepped-up, too expand, her vocal range ! And my Ears, are Loving It! I just Love this new Heavy Duty Soulfull, sound of hers! This is going to be her, next hit, for sure! For the people comparing Take Me To Church and How Come You Never Go There... They are both great songs but, any Music Theory 1 student could write a song in triple meter using open chords. There's nothing in Hozier or Feist's songs that isn't common knowledge in music. There are so many artists in the world and only so many combinations of keys, meters, and notes. Something is bound to sound like something else but that doesn't make it stealing. By these standards every song has most likely been "stolen".
Brendon Mize Exactly! He wrote the whole thing in the attic. He also worked *with* Rob Kirwan putting the rest of the track together. You make it sound like a single vocal take was his only contribution to the song. I feel you have misunderstood what exactly producers do...

+Nancy Prescott I call bullshit. there's a tipping point where a "borrow" or "influence" becomes plagarism. The Hozier move is such. I recognized it immediately when it came out on Irish radio two years after Metals. For both songs the verse chords are very odd and unique, and the tempo / timing/3/3 beat is mental, both are a massive co-incidence to "have stumbled upon with no internet connection". Feck sake. Obviously the Hozier chorus is not a steal, but the verse *music* is. Absolutey.

how freaking awesome is this woman..this whole metals album is fantastic. good job on being awesome !! just taking on a darker and more intimate atmospher when she could of easily did what she did the first time around(which was still awesome), and it would of sold and it still would of been great. but uping your own self should always be the challenge and she just nailed it man
