His passing statistics were not super special but he has made incredible strides since his freshman season, particularly in the last 3 games (Idaho, Florida State, Michigan). If he wins the starting job next year, I expect him to be even better. I love how Mullen is now utilizing his running ability.
There's no question about him being the starter. Unless someone comes in and has improved a tremendous amount or he gets injured he's gonna be the starter. He's proven he can lead a team.
Has the potential to be something special I could really see him becoming a 3000 yard passer. After the 2017 season I doubted him not gonna lie but Mullen has done an excellent job developing him and giving him some confidence. Watch out for Florida next year. We have a quarterback who is getting better and better, something we haven’t had in 10 years.
DUDE LOOKS GOOD. BEAUTIFUL BALL COMIN OUT HIS HAND. YOU SEE THE SPIN, THE TRAJECTORY, THE ACCURACY. HE WONT BE SLEPT ON FOR LONG. TOP 5 QB 2019-2020 SEASON. #NEXTBESTTHING 💯💯.
I could see him being a hidden gem in whatever draft he’s in. He could be a guy who get chosen 5-6 round and be a franchise qb. Could see him replacing Winston
As Gator fans, we bitch about not having a QB since Tebow...but we have. Cam Newton, Jacoby Brisset, Will Grier, all nfl talent...just they didn’t have the right coach (well that and stealing laptops and taking pfd’s) Guess my point is that Filipe could potentiality be a Heisman candidate two years from now if he continues to grow as he did this year. Y’all booed him until he gave the middle finger and showed his heart at the end of the year. #TeamFranks
He wasn't great last season, but definetly not terrible. One of the most improved QBs in college football. The best Florida QB since Tim Tebow. He may end up having a better career than Nick Fitzgerald had for Dan Mullen. Not as good of a runner, but a better thrower.
Need a Chauncy Gardner-Johnson career highlight reel. Also if ya'll don't quit hatin on my guy Franks I'm freal gonna get yo ip address and pull up on you
Daniel Kustra I was on his hype train all along since that gw touchdown early last season. He got way too much hate and proved the haters wrong. Go Franks!
It wasn't even Georgia putting pressure, but more so Frank's making bad decisions. He made some good throws, but needs to get better. He will finally have a good game against Georgia giving gators the W.
This kid throws a nice ball. I hate when they put him in this read option crap. It's hindering his development. Put him in a classic drop back or air raid offense and he'll really shine.
when half of your higlight video is plays under 12 yards, you're not deserving of being Florida's QB. I knew the Michigan game was going to make this cloudy. Emory should start.
Majority of his throws were over 12 yards in the video, now the runs were a different thing. I agree if Emory can pass as good as Frank's did last year, he should start since his running ability is light years better than Frank's
If the game came down to us depending on his arm we would loose he is not clutch at all and still makes boneheaded decisions and we will not take that next step with him at qb 🤷🏾♂️
HBK_Meeks I’m not the biggest fan of Franks, but he has gotten better with Mullen. I think he’ll play even better this upcoming season. Towards the end of the year, he threw the ball with confidence.
