The guy on the right should do his homework on Denver and Minnesota. Denver lost Bruce Brown and Jeff Green last offseason and were key pieces to their bench production. Minnesota brought in Denver’s President in 2023 who built that roster to beat them. A little bit of research and you would actually be able to analyze the NBA better 😂😂😂

The Celtics will have a great chance to repeat next year!! Do you guys understand how hungry they'll be to shut everyone up and run through a healthy easy possibly. They will have another great chance to go back to back if everyone stays healthy. I can't see them trading Jrue but if they make a trade like that they won't repeat. I'm hoping for Nuggets vs Celtics NBA FINALS!!
The deep playoff runs take their toll and it becomes hopefully cyclical. One season On one season off. But that season may actually be this season. This might have been the "season Off" and they won anyways.
I disagree with Maz- It’s much easier to win in the league now with the dispersal of talent. I think the Celts could repeat, but I’m not confident that they could beat Denver.
Also Mazz did a false equivalency. Kevin Durant is NOT a leader. Its one of the main reasons he didn't want to come here in 2017 when we had Isaiah Thomas and Al Horford as our stars, with Jaylen Brown in his baby year and we already secured the 1st overall pick so Tatum was coming here no matter what. When Tom Brady came to visit him to convince along with the Celtics to come here, KD felt the pressure that he had to be THE GUY and that isnt in his DNA. He has top 5 talent with a roleplayer mentality, personality. Jaylen Brown is not that guy. And Tatum knows he has to be the guy and has showed he is growing i to that role by taking charge in the finals like he did. They want to win and win a lot more than they did, plus Jrue Holiday aint nowhere near doen, as well as Porzingis. Porzingis wants to win another NBA title being there full time, with no injuries Paul and KG left not because they wanted too but because Ainge begged them too so he could pull off that historic Nets trade. KG had a no trade clause and Brown forced to have that on his contract cause he doesnt want to leave Boston. Allen left because Michael Jordan got into his head that unless he had a 2nd ring, he couldn't be in the upper echelon and became hypocritical in his stance on being a starter in Boston but being a benchwarmer in Miami and betrayed Boston in order to get his 2nd ring but was upset that Boston doesnt want to retire his number and love him like they did KG and Paul and they gave his number to countless people This is Felger and Mazz raging at the sky, doing false equivalents and in their salty mood, and even when Wyc is paying the luxury tax and investing in the team and the young stars have zero desire to leave and are still winning championships, Felger and Mazz will still say the sky is falling and try to gaslight you lol accept the Celtics dynasty
Celtics coulda easily won the title in 2017 and 2020 if things broke right...u can argue the Jays should have at least their 2nd rings...u can argue that it proves ur point, but I think about it the other way ..they have broken thru
This! Tatum isn’t even fully in his prime yet and Brown is just entering it, they both are younger than Steph, Lebron, MJ etc to get their first rings. If this was the old days and they went 4 years at college this would only be their 3rd and 4th seasons. Also we are going to have a great problem soon and that will be deciding which ring chasers to sig😊
They just won a championship with Tatum playing like shit for the finals and Porzingis playing like 5 or 6 games. Odds are they come back with a better feelings for each other and a whole offseason of work together and if a 26 year old Tatum continues to improve and Porzingis plays even 12 games they have as much of a chance as anyone to win next year
Did Brown use the word sacrifice? I mean, if that's the case..cry me a freaking river, you're paid millions to play a kid's game for one of the most storied franchises ever....and I think Tatum likes the idea of being a Celtic legend, he knows he just helped this team go past Kobe's Lakers in banners
He was talking about everyone scoring less and a guy like Horford being willing to go to the bench all season and both him and Tatum being willing to let other guys take over at times. The '08 Celtics talked about being willing to sacrifice as well, with a stacked roster you HAVE to be willing to sacrifice to win and credit to everyone from Tatum, to Brown, Porzingis, and even Jrue Holiday for being willing to play their roles to win this chip
