OMG! Just listened to the complete interview & simply luv'd, luv'd, luv'd it. Thank U & thank U, Felix. Eddie B was my fav Rascal so it was a bit difficult hearing Felix's memories about him. But, still luv their music & Felix's soulful vibe. Just saw him & Gene w/ the band in Honolulu & the show was FANTASTIC! Felix's still got tons of energy & still has that awesome voice. Much luv to them. So sad to hear about Dino. RIP, sweet Dinoooo. Aloha from a 4ever fan.

I heard The Rascals music as a kid and I liked it, but now I love it and I'm a new big fan of that group! Their music, their performances and their interviews intrigue me. What great music we had back then.

I’ll take Eddie Brigati over Felix Cavaliere as a human being any day.

Just saw them in Concert here in California they were awesome, their music brought good memories of my childhood n adulthood. My favorite is Eddie B, but to be honest I think putting the dirty laundry out there is messed up, The Rascals were unique, I’ve always sensed Cavalieri had distain by his body language towards Eddie B, when he was just as great but not my fave give credit where credits due they as a group united were fantastic as a whole.

Maybe after Eddie wrote everything that inspired his music he had nothing to add and it caused a fraction/split. Also what famous work did Felix put out after the split? Felix should release this bitterness and accept his brother song writer for for who he is or was.

I couldn't make heads or tails of his comments. Still don't know anything about "the challenges........Brigati".

Eddie's brother said that he was 15 years old when he joined the Rascals. Dang that's so young.

Eddie was a singer, not a musician and he was the one member who refused re-signing with Atlantic.Felix and Dino WERE what made them great.I first saw them at The Barge in Long Island before signing with Atlantic. My sister was a singer for UA and dating Felix and friends with Eddie's sister Ann Brigati.I last saw them at Criteria recording in Miami in '69.There's always one who splits ...and that was Eddie. He and brother David made an album after split titled Brigati that went nowhere.Had it made..shoulda stayed.

I do NOT comment but this is messed up…I am friends w/Eddie and family since I was 12 years old…I know different perspective but Felix gotta be a bit kinder.. At this stage of the game??? Give me a break.. and do not go public about crap…

I'm a keyboardist and songwriter, and the Rascals in general, and Felix in particular, were my idols. But that said, it does pain me that Felix still runs Eddie down in interviews, and often doesn't refer to him by name; rather as "my partner." I think (guitarist) Gene Cornish's book put it best: Dino, Felix, and Gene were working musicians for a few years before the Young Rascals, and Eddie was not...he was younger, had sung mostly with brother David (Joey Dee & Starlighters). So all of a sudden, at 18 years old or so, he's in the band, and fame wallops them. In those days when the Beatles re-wrote the notion that band members could write their own songs, everybody wanted to do that. There were demands for 2-3 albums a year, plus tours behind the records. Not everyone is cut out for that kind of life. Felix was; Eddie wasn't. Doesn't mean he wasn't/isn't a wonderful human. Felix ought to be able to acknowledge the great work they did, at such young ages, IMHO, and it's sad he has not.

Felix is ridiculously full of himself. It's too bad.

Loved the Rascals. This just tarnished the music. And, for what. So Mr. Caviliere could get things off his chest. Sad.
