@@empty_seat lol when your emo then you get cool music n to make everything around you depressing so you feel like its okay i had a quite fucked beggining to life with my mom leaving me for drugs n getting left with my dad who was fresh outta prison n then my step mother who was physically n mentally abusive im okayish now cause shes gone but anyways so i had started "phase" pretty young at like 9 or 10 n i didnt dress emo back then just refused to cut or take care of my hair n had problems with wanting to cut my arm n put hand sanitizer on it n i listened to a ton of nightcore adaptations of emo songs but then like that all kinda slowly went away n i started listening to heavy metal n i mean like really heavy n just kinda being edgy n antisocial but then at like some point last year i was obssesed with tryna be "normal" cause i thought itd make me happy n maybe get a girl so i dressed in nicer stylish clothes n started working out n stuff but like it made my depression so much worse cause i started listening to pop songs n just grew to feel like i was alone in this world cause my clothes were so bright but inside was so dark n pop songs are so fake n poorly made that i couldnt relate to them n like it sucked so as covid hit n quarintine started things got really bad n i went back to listening to emo music n started dressing full emo n i havnt cut my hair since so i got sides that are like 3 inches n top hairs like 7 inches making a nice fringe over most my face
