To be able to climb up the ladder into the cockpit with all that gear on is amazing; she is wearing a "jumpsuit" that fills with air to prevent blood from rapidly going from the head to lower extremities when pulling high G-forces (4-7) causing the person to momentarily pass out; definitely a young person's game!!! I would say 90% of these pilots are in their twenties , early thirties.

As she was getting suited up, I started wondering how a hairbun fit in the helmet. Is there a hole or a cutout in the back? I kept saying c'mon turn around, turn around. And yep, there's a spot at the base of the helmet that works perfectly.

She is an amazing pilot and absolutely deserves her spot on the team. Her Naval Career to date has been very impressive and should serve as an inspiration for any young woman or man.
