Female Tears Have This Superpower #science.
Source: PMC10734982
The intriguing dynamic between public observation and scientific discovery often reveals instances where individuals notice phenomena before scientists. This phenomenon underscores the invaluable role of citizen scientists and keen observers in contributing to our understanding of the world. Here's a reflection on this symbiotic relationship: Keen Observation: Everyday individuals, driven by curiosity, possess a unique ability to keenly observe their surroundings. Accessibility of Technology: Advancements in technology provide people with tools to document and share observations instantly through social media and other platforms. Wide Distribution of Knowledge: Information dissemination has become widespread, enabling rapid sharing of observations across diverse communities. Crowdsourced Data: Citizen scientists contribute to crowdsourced data, offering a wealth of information that can lead to scientific insights. Unfiltered Perspectives: Unfiltered by scientific paradigms, everyday observers may approach phenomena with fresh perspectives, uncovering nuances overlooked by traditional scientific methods. Involvement in Natural Events: People often find themselves directly involved in natural events, such as weather anomalies or ecological changes, prompting firsthand observations. Rapid Response: The immediacy of public response allows for real-time monitoring and reporting of events, expediting the recognition of emerging phenomena. Community Collaboration: Communities, online and offline, collaborate in sharing observations, creating a network that amplifies the collective observational power. #CitizenScience #ObservationSkills #ScientificDiscovery #PublicEngagement #CommunityObservations #CrowdsourcedData #EverydayScientists #CitizenScientistCommunity #KnowledgeSharing #PublicParticipation #TechnologyAdvancements #ScientificInsights #ObservationBeforeScience #CommunityCollaboration #FreshPerspectives #ScientificContributions #DemocratizationOfKnowledge #CuriosityDriven #RapidResponse #KeenObservers #SharedDiscoveries #fyp #fypシ #medicine

Maybe their mom/dad beat the shit out of them everytime they cried. Mine did. Crying triggers aggression because quite literally its associated with every bit of hypocrisy torture and "why the fuck is my PARENT- the person who willing brought a baby into the world- treating me like their stress relief punching bag while blaming me for literally every issue they have in their life". They just working out their issues from a mother who insisted "empathy is inate"

Pretty sure it won't work on e.g. antisocial personality disorder people (what a layman would call a psychopath or a sociopath). Or maybe it works but just less so, ASPD means one's brain is literally wired different so it makes sense one would react differently. Just a guess based on experience. A lot of experience.

@@Loralanthalas relatable af. Idk if you have natural empathy, so i figured I'd share something I recently learned.. If you develop cognitive empathy and work to know yourself and others, you should develop natural empathy. If you dont develop natural empathy from that, there's never even a chance of it happening, so it's best just to get over the fact that the empty feeling inside of you will never go away. Sorry if its a tough pill to swallow.

Not only that, the small sample size and lack of further replication or noting confounding variables makes this study unreliable. It could be true but it’s not enough evidence to make a conclusive claim of any sort. I remember when I was young - about 6 years old, I can't help but cry being hit by my father with a belt. The more, and the longer I cry, the more angrier and harder he hits. I can remember his eyes filled with hate and violence. I eventually got used to always being hit and felt numb on my backside, but I kept crying, still, everytime I'm being "disciplined". He worked overseas, with my mom, so the hitting stopped. Me and my brother were looked after by our grandparents and other relatives. After they came back from years working overseas, we are a bit older, and was rarely hit, but he's still narcissistic in nature, even up to this day. He's gotten milder with age, but still so much pain in my ass - when I was a child to adulthood - because of his personality. He always said that we were lucky that's just how he hit us, because he said he experienced worse. But I, as her daughter, choose not to repeat this cycle for my own future child/children. Stop the cycle. Be different. Don't be like the person who inflicted you pain and suffering. Instead, love, love the way you wanted to be loved. And don't forget to love yourself enough to avoid people who disrespects, cause you pain, and makes you think less of yourself. You deserve better. You are better. Choose better ❤

Of course, I had also learned a great lesson to stay away from red flags. And first and foremost, direct that compassion and love towards myself first. In high school, I had a very tough principal. Tall, militant, a very disciplined guy. He didn’t mess around. So when I get called into his office, and he told me that I wasn’t going to be able to walk in my senior graduation. Due to a mishap with some of my credits. I immediately burst into tears. He was beside himself, and frankly panicking. It was very sweet to see him soften with compassion. These past 4 years have been..... like, chipping away on my sense of self, self-esteem, confidence, and I don't feel like myself anymore, my life in paper is better but I just feel, less, less of me as a whole, I've had to change so much of me and suppress even more.

(Please don't get offended not every person is the same, we know) being in a toxic environment where people generally don't care about each other that's what I see. There is nothing wrong with showing emotion. And some men don't know how to act when a woman cries. Because they aren't good at showing emotions. Also it depends on the relationship people have to each other. I would want to hear a man's opinion on this matter before I judge.

It also makes you wonder why men remain aggressive towards women, even men who aren’t committing violent crimes against women. You’d think it’d go against whatever instincts produce this tear-aggression reaction for many men to treat women the way they do. Guess it just goes to show you how powerful societal influences can be in forcing roles etc. onto us.

I had a very strict teacher back in school who used to monitor the exam hall. Before one of the final exams I was late to put my notes away because I was extremely stressed. He then said that I won’t receive the exam paper because of that. I was already terribly stressed and when he said that I was literally at the verge of crying when my female teacher patted my back and told me its going to be okay. That was the final straw and then I burst into tears I couldn’t contain myself. Everyone in the exam hall was staring at me. Mind you, I hate crying in front of people let alone an exam hall but that time I couldn’t control myself. He was shocked n all of a sudden came to me and told me to calm down and that he will let me take the test. After that incident he became super nice to me even outside of the exam hall.

I have always found tears to be a symbolic releasing of emotion, which seems to be far more cathartic and healing compared to trying to "control" & "contain". To cry is to feel and let go. Sometimes, all that needs to be done is to bear witness to our emotions and acknowledge them and let that be enough for the moment. Tears can be immensely healing.
@TheKillaShow
@TheKillaShow 6 месяцев назад
Its less a symbolic release and more of a literal release. It is literally whats happening. Crying from emotions is part of a complete hormonal response to stimulus. Its your body literally reacting and coping to your emotions simultaneously. To intentionally stop yourself from crying is to fight your nature. Which can cause issues down the line as many of us have experienced.

I need to know more about those “researchers” tho, like why are they studying woman’s tears 😭

This is interesting, but did they also test male tears for comparison? Maybe it’s all human tears that we are inherently responsive to.

almost had there with first saying "female tears make me feel better"... thought this was going to be a comedic short about the best ways and reasons to make a female cry lol. on a serious note, nobody should cry outside tears of joy, God bless.

Anytime I cried in front of my man he couldn't handle it because it clearly made him feel bad. Unfortunately there's been several of them, not many that I could call my man, but my tears always have the same effect

Welll technically tears inhibit sexual arousal in men. They also are used socially (that’s kind of their point). They help create and develop bonds between other humans, that’s why onion tears are different to emotional tears. Emotional tears have more protein so they slow down and stick more to the face. This means they’re more likely to be seen by others. Tears signify emotional vulnerability and a need for comfort.

That's really odd considering, as a female, when I'm angry enough to cry, it means I could delete someone or strike a match to a house 😮
