Hi, we follow the traditional Icelandic method of making skyr with skimmed milk. This way, we can find a use for the skimmed milk from our butter production and avoid wastage. 😊
Our whey is fed to a local AD plant to produce green energy and our beef cattle also have a little as its very nutritious but yes it can be fed to pigs or chickens if there is a farmer nearby who can take it. 😊
