Allan, did you ever squirrel hunt? My first squirrel gun was a single shot .22. It had iron sights on it. While trying to learn how to shoot it I got headaches from concentrating so much on aligning the sights with the bottle cap on the fence post. I must have shot a half dozen boxes of bullets through it before I figured out that I wasn’t using my dominant eye to aim with. Once I did, I could keep both eyes open… that eliminated the headaches. And it made the bottle caps look a lot bigger. Keep practicing on aiming those stakes and you too could become a world class squirrel hunter! Just remember… sight with your dominant eye. It’ll save you a lot of bullets!!! No need to thank me for this valuable advice…. It is just one of the many free services that come with my subscription to your channel…

You use less energy if you add weight to the closed end of your post pounder (if you want to get fancy add a smaller diameter pipe inside the weighted top for a pinging sound) . . . For safety add length to the open end which prevents you from bringing your pounder above and off centered to the post your driving saving your face or nose from being smashed when the pounder hits the top of the post when thrusting downward . . . Many noses have been broken by a t-post pounder : (
