@Anna Marfa then the parents are responsible for the kids, cuz kids don't just wonder around without parents' supervision. And maybe they can put another fence/barrier in front of the electrical fence so that nobody can cross the barrier before reaching the fence.
That's why the fence should be upgraded into taller and barb wires installed along with high voltage electricity to the fence. Definitely can reduce the number of perimeter breach.

This has happpend before the Secret service, and White House staff learn evreytime and make improvements as necessary I doubt this could happen again the same way at least
He was probably just helping them out by using him jumping over the fence as a statement that they need to upgrade. Except for the bomb squad stuff that was just stupid by them.
No offense but I personally think the fences are not enough. They are not tall enough, that's for sure. To be reinforced it, they should install barb wire, mutiple barb wires if have to, at the top of the fence along with the spikes. It would also be good to add high-voltage electrical measures to the barb wires or the fence itself. So if any happy enthusiasts try to trespass, they will get themselves electrocuted and pass out before they can breach the perimeter.
They need to make the railings taller, make those new spikes taller than the existing decorative bits, then have a wall of coiled razorwire at the bottom tucked up against the wall where it's not necessarily visible on the outside.
I agree. Basically they need to make the fence stronger reinforced with steel bar, put barb wires on the top with those spikes together, and install high voltage electrical measures. In the inner side of the fence, also put barb wire on the ground.

I actually put up fences for a living. Guy's can someone tell me why there is a six foot fence around white house ? here in Texas everyone is starting to use 8 foot now for their homes.

About time they put up more security. I don't care who the president is he/she needs to be protected. There are many cases when people jump over the fence. Videos of that all over RU-vid from the last 10-12 years. Here's a thought, how about an electric fence! His little gloves wouldn't have helped him then.
