You're the best detailed fencing analyst / coach on RU-vid. Love your material and always looking for more. I'm somewhat of a novice and wonder if you could analyse some more beginner videos some time? Big love from Australia all the best
Appreciate the kind words!, I actually some videos of me helping some new fencers by watching their bouts. So hopefully ill have those up within a week or 2!
If more people knew of your fencing videos, they'd be here watching in a heart beat. I just discovered them (and I've been watching fencing videos for quite awhile.)
24:57 classic looking at screen overlay rather than score light blunder. Cannone clearly hits here when looking at the score light. Not sure where the desync in screen overlay comes from. Edit: also want to say thanks for making these! lol
Suggestions I'd love to see: Sang-young Park (I could watch him fleche all day), Cat Holmes, and Isis Washington. Very different, but all great. Thanks! KJB
Alot to learn and many epic moves but I'm not a fan of this match, it felt like whenever a fencer took a risk and was proactive to get into distance and initiate an attack, he lost the point and got punished for it.
It's a tough one to judge, both fencers are very unpredictable and love launching attacks out of nowhere!, it's very hard to find who is leading the tempo since it changes constantly!
