Kubota's are forever man! hahahaahah, great job with those crops, have a look to the Permaculture model I am full into that hahah. great to see the great work in progress.
Yeah that 3 point lift is extremely jumpy, something is not right with it. Like you said, the MF-231 lift is a Cadillac. I also have to fight with the invaders in the garden every year, especially the deer. I have found the placing moth balls in plastic containers with holes drilled in them is very effective on keeping the deer out. Apparently they don’t like the smell. Have to change them out about once a month. Can’t wait to see the Massey.
I'm going to definitely give a try to the month balls since I have tons of deers around. About the Kubota it seems there is a common issues but there are some fixes I'm investigating. Thank you for checking the video and for the advice.
Nah . . . . something is out of adjustment on that Kubota hydraulic lift pump. I would take it back to the dealership for warranty service. The only drawback on that Massey Ferguson 231 is the old-style clutch and transmission. If you have to use the clutch a lot, it will wear you out. Make sure the bell housing opening on the bottom has a cover plate so it doesn't get full of dirt. (Ask me how I know that! 😁😁😉😉🤣🤣) Thanks for the video!
Agree, it is not normal these jumps while moving the level smoothly. I''ll take it to a dealer to have it checked. I will take a look at the bell housing opening this weekend I had no idea. Thank you for the information.
@@BUTTEWORKS IMHO most of the newer tractors tend to be very touchy; I have a 2018 M-F 1526 which I think is not as smooth as my 1959 M-F 50 the control levers on the newer M-F seem to be a little stiffer or touchy; So I guess it will take some time for everything to get broke in, & operate smoothly only time will tell; Just a guess.
