This is by far the best acoustic amp on the market for value and for what you get, no contest!! Just got mine FedEx today and played it for a while and I'm absolutely in love with this amp. Just takes a little bit of tweaking to get your sweet sound and this amp is tough and rugged and sounds like gold. So much bang for your buck with this amp. Highly recommend it! It's at least $400 cheaper than the Marshall and it's just as good if not better. Plus you have money in your pocket after you make the purchase. My Martin grand performance Road Series sounds fabulous through this amp. Check this amp out and get a lot of bang for your buck! I got the 90 watt version and it's loud as hell, perfect for small gigs, coffee shops and bars.
Thanx for you little review. What do you think, could the amp deal with keyboards, for example digital pianos? Sometimes I have gigs with a singer. Up to now I have two small Yamaha MS202 which do an excellent job, but they are just too small for medium type of gigs.
I got a question: could this amp deal with keyboards? Most of the time guitar amps are overstrained with the much wider frequency range of keyboards. So I just wonder.
I am looking into buying this amp, but my one question is: can I connect a Boss RC-30 loop station to this? Clearly I am no expert, but the fact that it does not have a External FX Loop like the Marshall AS50D has, for example, does that make it so that I cannot connect it to the Acoustasonic 90? Does anyone know? Thank You so much!
I attempted to use my Acoustisonic 90 with a band this last Saturday night. Naturally with a live band stage volume I needed to crank up the volume. When I did I lost the smooth lows and seemed all I was getting was highs? Why would that be or how can I adjust or is there possibly something wrong?
How do you get this acuostic sound out of it? When I go with my guitars (one with a fishman mag pickup and one with a L.R.Baggs piezo) directly in the amp it sounds very electrical.
Pieizo sucks period. And those speakers they use in the 40 and 90 watt acoustisonic series do too.... Magnetic pick ups or mic your guitar is the way to go. This video has horrible pieizo quack sound....
Hey Robert - great question! The Acoustasonic™ 90 is perfect by itself for a small coffee shop setting with its two inputs for guitar and microphone (or guitar/guitar or even mic/mic). It also has a balanced line output if you're in a larger club or concert hall and need to send signal to the PA. It's a super versatile amp!
@@fender Hi, I'm thinking of this amp for small bar gigs. I don't understand what you mean when you say send it to the house PA... does the public then just hear the PA, and if the house has a PA why not just plug straight into it, no need for an amp? Thanks if you read this!
yayo talavera I think you might be deaf, no offense. I have the 90 watt version of this amplifier and it's deafening loud. If you are playing through a PA let the sound technician crank your amp on the soundboard where you don't have to crank the volume on your amp. Let the PA do that for you. Truth is you can play Anywhere as long as there's a PA system. You don't need to run this amp past number 5 on this amplifier. If you do you are doing something wrong.
