I had a squier affinity pj bass that I bought in the package. I bought it in September and started taking lessons in November. I first upgraded to a rumble 200 and then bought an Ibanez but decided I was going to take it back and get the bass I really want. Soon as I picked this up that was a wrap!!!! Just picked it up today and I'm still giddy like a lil kid and I'm 43! Lol
Ive had mine for nearly two years. It’s TOP NOTCH! Mine has been used for gigging multiple times a week and has been through many travels . It has continued perform like brand new. Remember to keep it clean and perform your annual maintenance and this bass is worth the money.
I know im asking randomly but does anybody know a way to log back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid lost my account password. I appreciate any help you can offer me.
I got mine as a open box deal and couldn't be happier. It just has such an amazing smooth feel to it, loads of bottom & still sharp sounding. The neck plays smooth & quick. So easy to get around the neck you'd think it was a short scale! Sounds amazing with the EHX Bass Soul Food pedal.
Abdiel Martinez I waited 2 years to get it, I said I’ll finally buy it, they put the price up 100 dollars more after the Covid lockdown. I complained to the manager, gave me the original price and knocked off another 25 bucks. Better than nothing I guess
Dolphin grey new model looks sweet. Wish they had a pj option as the new one is j pickups only. It also has a 12in neck radius v. The 9.5 radius on this one.
I got one.. love it. I actually wish it had fret markers, only for stage and quick reference. The metal is gunmetal which is nice aesthetics. I changed my pickups with EMGs.
Love this Bass, up graded mine with Hip Shot Drop D tuner, Badass Bridge ll, Geezer Butler Pickups, switched out the smoked chrome for regular Chrome, as the smoked chrome fades with use, replaced the control knobs with some cool skulls, and it runs thru a Ampeg SVT Pro 4 with a 8/10 Ampeg Classic cab. Great sounding Bass, you won't be disappointed if you score one of these baby's.
Glad to see the beard coming back on Anthony! The last video I think most of us were "Who is this guy? He sounds like Anthony." Lol. Good to see you make it slowly back on.
Them grooves man are sweet, would there possibility, in future you could add a drum groove to see how the bass that your advertising will sit in groove
I use Fender flats on mine - sounds less clanky than rounds, but still has bite! I have the same strings on my MIM Jag and it's more thumpy and slightly duller on that bass, even though they are both PJs. Different pups makes the difference I presume.
Not considering price, would you recommend this over an american professional II p bass? I like the look of both of them but have to be careful of weighty guitars because of shoulder problems. I like playing a jazz bass but prefer a really nice low p bass tone (with the treble all the way off) that still cuts through nicely, like Pino Palladino on Voodoo. If anyone's tried both please let me know.
I really debated this for a while. I sat in the music store and played this, an American Pro II and ended up with this one. The neck is most definitely faster and the overall feel is better.
$20 a side a paycheck and you’ll have it 1.5 years people. Surely no matter what your situation, you could spare $20 and forget about it each time you get paid until boom you have your $800-900
I purchased a Fender Deluxe Moulded case (£150) for mine and it fits perfectly. Apparently, they don't make many as I had to wait a couple of months to get mine. Well worth the wait though.
i adore stingray basses so much. i’ve always thought precision basses sound good with slap, but wished it had more bite like a jazz bass. stingray does that
I love the Stingray tone as well. Bought a Sterling Ray 34 to accommodate the budget. Love everything about it but it’s up for sale as it’s 9.9lbs and I have a low disc issue and I need a little less weight. Wish I could afford an EBMM US model as they tend to be lighter.
I feel that for a lighter bass it is extremely well balanced. Usually run into that issue with a shorter upper horn or the lack thereof. love mine except for its ability to attract fingerprints
Arnaud Wassenne it’s Japanese. They also have an all jazz configuration. Suuuuper dope. If you look on eBay you can find some still in Japan. So they have 1) this version: Jazz body with p/j configuration 2) precision body with p/j configuration and 3) Jazz body with Jazz configuration.
Shame you cannot get the black PJ original version anymore...only P or Jazz..no PJ...stupid Fender...thats why we liked it, the slim bound body & arched top with PJ pickups....there just Jazz & Precisions now, what person thought..."let's drop the PJ even if it was the original Aerodyne...let Japan make them again, they make them better with nicer colours & matching headstocks.....these are not real Aerodynes in my book, the black one your playing is what most people think of when an Aerodyne not just a P pickup or 2 Jazz coils...shame...i luvved the grey & candy apple red Japanese semi sparkled Areodyne PJ's....
Things change... the classic aerodyne had a great run. I cam almost guarantee you'll see re-issues pop up from time to time (I say that without any insider info). I always liked that style too. Thanks for watching - Anthony
