Great video! I had an all ordinal Fender 66 Bassman which I miss, was amazing for guitar w/pedals and more for recording bass due to the low power. I had barrowed Traynor in my early bass playing year which I ran with another amp and its was amazing. I also used it with guitar and different pedals was great. A Fender Super Bassman low volume or live seeing that they make a 300Watt is a beast but I prefer vintage SVT's for gigging and the Ampeg B-15N Portaflex for recording. but nothing really beats the old 66 Fender Bassmans in my opinion.
Is that the Bassman Neo 410 cabinet or a 115? Sounds great! I tend to favor the old Bassman 50 amps just listening to this, but that's just me. For home use / practice they would be great!
Haha thanks Lawrence! I did the tweed covering myself. Black bass gear is so boring :) Yup! You have to be a bit crazy for re-tolexing a 5k$ new bass kit....lol
Humm, hard to tell, with his 27.5 ish inches wide, it doesn’t fit on lots of cab. You will probably have to turn a cab on the side. Some brand do have an option to switch the logo’s orientation. I can’t help further….
Build a road case for your SVT cab wide enough, or set it on top of a loaded or empty slant cab. Run the wires to your bass cab out of sight and no one will know. Traynor used to make the Big B but bass cabs in those days won't cut it today.
