So many companies offer financing too, I split up my $850 Gibson over 12 months and it was super easy to afford.

I know this is meant to be humour but 16 year olds could NEVER afford a strat as it was never a beginner's instrument; these were made for the working musician and many of them couldn't afford it either (in the 1950s). The strat was never an inexpensive instrument

Players like you always remember me that I should slow down. I'm at a level where I sometimes can nail down some interesting guitar solos, but my phrasing is something I need to work on, and also I often see that less is more. I think I hit too much notes in my solos. Somehow my ears are hyperactive, but when I hear guitar solos like yours, I really see that it's not about the amount of notes and speed, but that a solo sounds good if it is played with emotion. I think I still don't reach that kind of emotion in my solos :/

The old saying of "less is more" is a perfect way to articulate your solo's, also try to think of you solo from a narrative perspective ie: does it have a beginning, a middle and an end? if so try to take your listener on an journey through you're idea. :)

Thank you very much Nicholas, its important to dial in a great demo sound when playing for RU-vid. :) in terms of the feel of the neck.. thats slightly harder to describe as it can be so subjective. Needless to say this model glides under the finger nicely.

Get a set of Seymour Duncan SSL-1's. I put a set in my Classic Series 50's strat and it is the bees knees!

Yeah they're gorgeous aren't they!? closest thing to it now is a classic vibe Squier. Check out the Jet Js 300 if you want a non-sticky, gorgeous neck at a wicked price point. :)

We are not sure which model you are comparing/contrasting to there Dennis but Nitro Lacquer is horrendous to try and apply and is notoriously expensive to work with, that being said Nitro gives a stunning and unique appearance that ages over time beautifully.

It's possible to get the cheaper model for about 600€ in Germany, and the Laquer version costs about 1100€ in our stores. I am currently in the market for this guitar, I just like the Candy Apple Red Laquer version more, because both the body and the fretboard looks much better. I don't like the appearance of the cheaper one that much, I don't like that type of red but 500€ less is a a huge argument of course (laugh). Difficult difficult! :D

That is a really difficult decision, personally I would save up for the Nitro one as it will age over time considerably better and after years of playing will look like a true relic'd instrument with its battle scars and played in feel. :)

@@VideosVonDennis The cost is probably due to the laws of the California code for spaying the chemicals. Expensive to operate I suppose with the costs additions to safety. I was told at one time they are shipped to Mexico for spraying to avoid the taxes. Idk. Lol
