Vintage Guitar Oldenburg and Tobias Hoffmann present an original Fender Jazzmaster from 1964 in ultra rare color sonic blue. More infos about the guitar at: www.vintage-gui...
The guitar shown was played through a Fender Deluxe Reverb from 1978 and recorded with a Shure SM57 (right) and a Sennheiser 409 (left) . The backing tracks were recorded into a Fame Twin Looper on the same instrument right before the recording of each video. A Red Panda Tensor was used for additional loops and sounds. Overdrive Sounds come from a Vemuram Jan Ray and the Greer Amps Lightspeed as booster.
Tobias Hoffmann is a award winning guitar player from cologne, germany. He combines the sounds of Jazz, Blues, Rock, Surf and some experimental stuff. Check him out:

Oh my god, I’ve just tried that stretch at 4:04!! Whilst beautiful, it’s just impossible for me. How does he manage this?! Simultaneously fretting a baby C chord and a baby G chord and rocking back and forth without lifting anything… Superhuman 💪🏼🤘

Cracked it! Fret the baby G first then add the baby C chord, NOT the other way around. (Anyone know a good Doctor to look at my dislocated wrist?).

Eigentlich wollte ich dem Tobias ja nur ein Kompliment machen, für seine Arrangements/Kompositionen und seine Spielweise und Melodien, indem ich ihn mit jemandem vergleiche wie z Bsp dem Bukovac oder dem Landau….aber genau betrachtet hat der Tobias seine eigene Stimme die auch seine eigene Berechtigung hat und verdient nicht oberflächlich einfach nur verglichen zu werden, indem man ein vermeintliches Namedropping macht (weil man dann glaubt das ehrt den Gitarristen), nein der Tobias ist ein kleines Juwel da im Norden für sich. Bin jedesmal froh ihn spielen zu hören……
