Great work on this cool historical piece again! The best amp technician I know! Always nice to visit you Martin and thank you for the service you already done for me!
Really nice Vintage Fender amp. And as always Martin, you did a great job bringing it back to life.. Your quite a good player too, which is nice because one can really hear how good the amp sounds after being restored.. Keep up the good work.. Take care, Tom
Thank you, I do my very best😬. A 1992 American Standard Stratocaster equipped with Tonerider City Limits. Actually I don’t like the sound of Fender pickups from the 90ś. Sound weak and bland ( my oppinion ).
@@martinstubeampworkbench2299 HAH! ...with me it's: "geez, that pickup is utter crap" ...and then on an alternate Tuesday: "whoa, what tone, what nuance, cripes this is perfect" (same pickup) cheers, matey
Hi Ben, in the US your power outlet has three holes and there is only one way to plug it in. In Germany you can plug your power cord into the wall receptacle either way. To make shure to have earth ground the receptacle has two contacts. Again, either way you plug it in you’ll have earthing. So …. sad but true: it doesn’t matter! 😬 Greetings
And oh…..yes a dpdt switch would be much better for safety sake, but it’s always the customer who decides how far I go. He agreed to change the pt but other than that he wanted to keep the originality as much as possible.
